My husband and I stay at this particular Quality Inn 2x per month every 3 months. Normally I don’t have any issues. But this stay wasn’t the best. Upon check in, I told the receptionist that I wanted to be on the right side of the building (odd numbered). She told me I’d already been “assigned” a room number which was on be left side of the building. Supposed all the “pet rooms” were taken on the right. So we went to our room, which fortunately didn’t stink like old cigarettes (happened in February when we were assigned the left side). But right off the bat two problems occurred. The bathroom sink stopper would not lift up very far. We had to pry it up and take it out. The second thing that annoyed me more than anything is that there was no dining table in the room. Every room I’ve stayed in on the right side of the building has had a dining table. Which we need because we eat dinner in our room and also breakfast. So it sucked.

We stayed one night on the way from NC to NJ. Nice, convenient, great stuff. Breakfast area was superb - well organized and very clean. Guy in charge of breakfast area was superb and extremely helpful

Good price and good location for convenience but hotel is old and shows it. Room had a smoked-in smell (and although clearly blasted with 'no smoking's signs, there was an ashtray provided in the bathroom area), burn holes in the comforter, stains on the chairs, flat screen tv from early 2000's (bolted to the dresser so it can't be moved; also had fuzzy picture). Room key didn't work 2 days in a row resulting in meeting nearly every different person who works there and slight frustration. Lots of trucking noises from the highway. All in all, would have rather spent an additional $100 and booked at the Holiday Inn Conference Center right behind it (much better bang for the buck - had friends staying there at the same time be able to compare/contrast).

AVOID this DUMP !!! this placed smelled and the heat didn't work well....we both slept on the chairs to avoid bed-bugs !! When we demanded a refund to go somewhere else the owner said "Because you booked thru a 3rd party, (Expedia) he couldn't refund the $$$......what's sad is that the "reviews" were obviously FAKE !! Needless to say, I'll NEVER book via Expedia again...or ever go to any "Quality" Inn

I find this Quality Inn nicer than the other one also located in Fredericksburg. Very quiet in the area. It’s also clean. And although I know hotels find rooms that have laminate floors easier to clean because of pets, I prefer carpet which this one has. It’s cleaner and warmer.

Pleasantly surprised
Spent three days at the Quality Inn, the rooms were clean, comfortable, well supplied. Hotel staff, especially the front desk where especially accommodating. Was pleasantly surprised with the complimentary breakfast which had a wonderful variety of choices to eat. Cost was reasonable so we actually added an extra day to our stay. Good value for a good price would highly recommend

Good for spring/fall - not as good summer/winter
The first room I was in had the smoke detector chirping every 30 seconds, so the staff moved me to another room. The heating system was inadequate: it was a freezing day and with the heat turned on full, after 3 hours I was still shivering. I had to sleep under the linens from both beds, fully dressed. The staff was friendly and responsive, but the climate control was a problem.

Nice clean rooms and property. Lovely woman at check in on 1/11/24 and on my way back booked another night stay 1/14/24 and another pleasant check in with Brandon he also went above and beyond to fix the cable connection on my TV. The continental breakfast was nice . Thank you for a lovely stay.

This place was really an upgrade from most of the budget facilities I've frequented. Nice people, safe location, upscale bedding and sheets, clean fridge and microwave. Highly recommended.
