"Nice resort 1 hour speedboat from Male. Main reason we stayed here was for snorkelling on the house reef which was pretty good, heaps of fish, sharks, rays, octopus and turtles, however the coral is not as healthy as other resorts we have stayed at. Food was good, especially at The Grill. All inclusive drinks list suited us. Staff were excellent and very attentive and spoilt me on my birthday. We had a beach bungalow which was comfortable with great shower, comfortable bed and close to the main restaurant and bar. Overwater bungalows looked good too. Good resort if you don’t want to fly out of Male."

"We had an incredible stay at Oblu Lobigili wait to return. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views, crystal-clear waters, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special thank you to Sarah, our island hostess, who made our experience truly amazing with her kindness and outstanding service. The restaurants were fantastic, offering delicious food, great variety, and excellent service throughout our stay. Our special mention to ONLYBlu restaurant, what a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Maldives getaway."

"I travalled with 85 year old disabled mum and 88 year old dad. The staff was very helpfull. they arranged a room closed to the restaurants and a wheelchair for my mum. During the transfers from the airport to the hotel and hotel to the airport, they also assisted us. They arranged everything very professionally. Island and the facilities are very pleasant. Food is very good and diverse cousines are available. Rooms are being cleaned 2 times in a day, every morning and every afternoon.The night acitivites are enjoying. The day time is peaceful. The sea is crystal clear, fishes are colorful, the staff is cheerful, so what can you ask for more... Thanks to all Bandos team."

"A decent hotel and the suite we stayed in was lovely. Our issue really comes from the lack of available tours unless sufficient guests book in, but if not enough book you’re not able to book with another tour company without paying an extortionate docking fee. The food at the buffet is average but the Italian restaurant was lovely. The staff seem very confused with requests and say they’re not allowed to make decisions and yet there is never anyone around who can. Frustrating experience"

"What an incredible place! The views, the peace, the sheer beauty, everything was all we wanted and more. The staff are incredibly helpful and the kindest we have ever encountered. Naseem was our island host who felt more like a friend, helpful, attentive and caring. Ravi, the cleaner for our beach villas was faultless! He works so hard and kept everywhere pristine, was always happy and left beautiful decorations on our bed using grass reeds! Puja, our favourite waitress in the market, took care of our family of six at every meal time. There are so many people to thank for our amazing stay! We will be back again one day! We miss everyone and everything about this place. If you are undecided where to go, Joy Island should definitely be somewhere you pick!!"
