Our room was directly above a nightclub/bar area with music that actually caused the furniture to vibrate. An explanation was that the staff had pointed out they had bar entertainment but not that we wouldn’t sleep until 2am because of this. In the room we had stained sheets. The bathroom floor tiles were broken and caused a small cut to my foot. The shower had only cold or tepid water at any time off day. Nice food and very pleasant staff

Great hotel but very noisy as my room overlooked the ventilation to the kitchen. Not very private in bathroon as only half privacy glased window. This aside the staff and restaurant was great.

Lovely Hotel
Lovely stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit dated and bathroom in need of a few touch ups...nothing major! Breakfast was amazing and the steak for dinner was the best ever.

Sightseeing family break
We had a great time at the Kilmorey Arms Hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and Kate especially had a good knowledge of things to do and places to visit which was great. The food was really good and tasty. The room we stayed in could’ve done with a little tlc ( wallpaper coming off in a few places) but overall it was very comfortable and clean and we would definitely stay here again. Hotel is situated in the main town which is great to get out and about, a nice walk from it to the lovely working harbour to see the boats coming in. Great wee shops and especially an ice cream parlour which was amazing 👍. We walked over 20 miles in our 2 day stay, views of the mountains and the Silent Valley was fantastic, the stones walls everywhere are something special and an art in themselves.

Overall the hotel was excellent, the staff were very good and nothing was a problem. The place was clean and tidy. The hotel was very busy in the bar but extremely quiet in the bedroom area. We had a good breakfast with plenty of variety. Side plates next the toaster would help. We've used this hotel many times for lunch and they have been good, we will be back again.

This is just the BEST place to stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and make your visit top class. The room was beautifully appointed with complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities. We ate in the bar and the meal was exceptional. Cannot wait to stay again.

Kilmorey should kill overloud music
The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. However, our stay was ruined by the extremely loud music coming from a function downstairs. I'm not talking about a slight background noise, I'm talking about music so loud that it was like lying in the middle of the disco. We could hear every word of each song, the patrons singing along, and the bass resonated around the room. This would be a great hotel but I suggest you avoid weekends and enquire about functions before booking.
