The house was beautiful and appointed to reflect the history of the house while at the same time the modernity of the bathrooms were perfectly up to date.We were thrilled to be so close to cliffs and enjoyed our time immensely. Don and Jacqui were so gracious and our breakfasts were exquisite. It was a special weekend and plan to return. Often.

This was a lovely B&B. Perfect in every way. Loved the decor. Patio was so nice in a quiet neighborhood. You were away from crowds but within walking distance to the mansions and waterfront. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful property with excellent service. It made me feel like I was staying in true Newport, rather than a chain hotel that would feel like every other chain hotel. I highly recommend!

What a beautiful B&B! Breakfast was very good both days and Don took great care of us. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed the entire stay. Loved it!

Our New Getaway Sanctuary in Newport
We came across the Ivy Lodge last minute and just by the look of the pictures and the amenities we thought it would be a good option. We had no idea that it was the best most wonderful option. The property and the grounds are beautiful and luscious. We were greeted by the owner Don and received the most hospitable welcome. The complementary breakfast in the morning is cooked by his wife Jacqui and it is amazing! The staff is friendly and attentive. It’s a quiet beautiful sanctuary. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!

May try again but in different room.
Room was on 3rd floor, small room, low ceiling, would not recommend that room. Room should be used as emergency overflow only. I would not have stayed there if I knew room was inferior. Breakfast was good.

Thanks for taking the time to review our B&B. Hard to respond without knowing the room. However, there are no queen bedrooms with low ceilings, or rooms we would consider overflow rooms.Our previous reviews would support that. Given that, we appreciate you staying and wish you well.

Perfect Romantic Getaway
Beautiful, romantic, cozy, and comfortable. We had the greatest overnight. Location was excellent too- right in the mansion district. The owner was so pleasant and kind. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Our stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable. The house is exquisite, charming, and beautifully furnished. The room was delightful with a skylight to view the stars, a fireplace for the cold February night and a nice jetted tub/shower. I didn’t want to leave!

An absolutely beautiful Victorian mansion. If you are into Victorian houses and antiques this is the place for you. Lovely breakfasts also.

Love the Ivy Lodge! The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The breakfast is delicious. It’s like staying in a mini mansion with the decor! I highly recommend. It’s only a couple blocks from the Tennis Hall of Fame And not a bad walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Bathroom was way to small. Closet next to the toilet. Toiletries were poor. Night stand needs replacement.Food was awesome. Don was very nice. The location was perfect. Great parking. Generally quiet. The outside sitting area was such a great place to sit after a long day . Landscaping was so nice. Felt very private. Will be back if we can.

軽井沢の貸別荘のような建物と歴史ある雰囲気。ロビーラウンジでの無料のコーヒーやお菓子など、手作りだけど細かな心遣いがとても良かったです。 スタッフが常駐してないのがちょっと残念ですが。
