We chose this property based solely on the price and the location—because you can’t beat the location! With that being said, we did not receive any type of communication until THE DAY OF check-in. Which for people coming from out of town, that leaves you worried about the legitimacy of the reservation. We finally got a text message to confirm reservation and to submit my credit card information and send a picture of my ID. No problem—that all went smoothly. But they won’t give you the door codes to the property until RIGHT AT check-in which is 4pm and that’s a pretty late check-in. The property was easy to find and we easily found a parking spot too since it was not overly busy that day. Once inside the room we could tell it was cleaned well, which is a great thing! Beyond the cleanliness, the room is so lack luster. Do not expect much from this room. Although it is listed as a “hotel” they do not have normal amenities that a hotel regularly provides. Example: No coffee maker or coffee, No set of drinking glasses, only a few mismatched plates, mugs, silverware, No toilet paper holder, No place to hang your wet towels, No A/C, No Heat but a small electric fireplace with a blower, and No spare pillows. I’m sure we could have asked for things along the way, but usually all of these things are NORMAL to have provided from the get go. Plus, you can hear everything through the walls, all of the stomping above, and the patio is shared so our ocean view was a little awkward.

Right on the beach, you can't get a single apartment in this location anywhere else. Real clean. Bed very comfortable. Tiny kitchen and bath but OK. Method of payment not typical for US but I don't see people saying they had ID theft and it worked fine. Parking right by apartment was easy in March. If you have 13.5 million sitting around, you can buy the whole place (see zillow).

I would give this property 5 stars if the payment/check in process hadn't been so sketchy. When I booked, there was no option to pre-pay, only to pay at the property. Less than 24 hours before my check-in time, I received a message from the owner requesting my email so she could send me the "check-in instructions". I sent my email address, to which she sent a credit card authorization form and asked me to text a photo of my ID to a mobile number. This seemed wildly unprofessional to me as I've been an Expedia member for years and always see their disclaimers all over every correspondence, clearly stating NOT to share your personal information outside of the platform. I responded to the owner with a screenshot of Expedia's warning about sharing personal info/making payments outside of the app and then called customer service. After speaking with two Expedia representatives, the only options that were offered to me were to cancel or proceed with paying the owner outside of the platform. At this point, I had spent over 2 hours on the phone with them and it was after midnight, the day of my flight so I finally gave up, paid the owner and hoped for the best. I still feel extremely uncomfortable about the whole thing. After my credit card was charged, I received a text with the code to enter the property, as well as my unit. As far as the property goes, I loved it. It's right on the beach and very clean with modern updates. Could not have asked for a better location.

I honestly don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. I figured I’d write my review because I hesitated to book this place due to the reviews on here. I went ahead and booked for the view and I’m glad I did! The place was clean and the view and accessibility to the beach is perfect! There were more than enough towels for our stay and the water was slow to get hot but it did and was just fine. The building and neighbors felt safe and the owner contacted me the day before and day of to send check in info. I had a question about the Wi-Fi once we were there and they got back to me right away. I would definitely book this again and recommended to family for their upcoming trips.

The room was great. It had recently been upgraded, and it showed. Bed was comfortable…but the view. The view was exactly what my wife wanted-a direct view of the beach and ocean! Only negatives-had an issue with the auto door not locking to our room and a Wi-Fi issue, but Mona was able to help get both of them sorted out in a timely manner. There is no AC, but there is a fan. The biggest negative-the parking. There is no parking, it’s all public parking. It took us 40 mins to find a spot. But otherwise, it was a very nice stay!

Exquisite view. Safe beach neighborhood. Very clean. The web page said I could get reserve a dedicated parking spot for a fee, but at checkin I was told that wasn’t possible. HOWEVER, parking on the street was easy and not an issue. The checkin process is online only and I wasn’t given the key code until EXACTLY 4pm. I needed to request coffee pot, hand soap for the bathroom and sheets/comforter for the pullout couch, but the housekeeper was VERY fast and accommodating.

Had I known there was construction on the room, I wouldn’t have paid the extra money for “beach view”. Instead I paid extra for “construction view”. Not only did the owner not respond after my complaints, I feel completely disregarded. Very hard to check in as there is no one to answer. Didn’t receive lock codes. THE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS CAME INTO MY ROOM DURING MY STAY. Would not recommend.

I booked this place for the patio and beach front view. They failed to inform me the patio was under construction and completely taped off. The doors and windows were completely covered too. If I had known this prior I would not have booked this place. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend with my significant other turned out very disappointing.

I love the location— beach and marina are in walking distance. The sand is steps away! I really liked my studio room; nicely updated. Unfortunately there was exterior construction in the building when I stayed there. Also- my l door lock broke so that was quite inconvenient.

Here is the Good and the Bad for Unit 6 and Overall condition of this place. GOOD: Inside building is completely remodeled and everything is new. Excellent location, Convenient, if you just need a place to rest your head this is it. BAD: Check in is awful, myself and others there were scared we were going to be canceled on by the owner, on line only, no one on site. The exterior is starting to undergo renovation so its busy, loud, we nearly choked out it was unbearable due to the windows being taped up in plastic, there is no ventilation at all so with windows covered it is dangerous,(Once you remove the plastic there is plenty of natural ventilation, bring your own fan) also dangerous, elec. outlet covers are missing, no batteries in the CO and smoke sensors, no cleaning supplies so idk if I would use the dishes. Pillows are completely flat so bring your own. There is no BBQ pit so do not bring food, it will go bad like mine did. The outdoor area is kinda a first come first serve, our neighbors sat out there all weekend, while they slept in we coulda took over but they left all their party supplies, left over alcohol, clothing and general mess everywhere. There is no broom to clean up the patio, the furniture is so bad it is non existent. (I do assume it will all be replaced once the renovation is complete.) Now that I know what to expect I would stay again, it's just too bad they do not communicate better while you are there. only 1 roll of toilet paper. bring towels

M-boutique is not a HOTEL and they will NOT honor your reservation through Hotels.com if they don't feel like it. After flying all day, I was dropped off on the street at this address. There is no lobby. I called the hotel and they told me the booking was canceled. I assure you it was not - confirmed by Hotels.com. They didn't have a room for me and at 10:30pm we were scrambling to find a hotel with no transportation. They are deceitful liars. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!

I NEVER STAYED HERE. WE CALLED AND CALLED AND NOBODY WOULD ANSWER. We finally got a hold of a lady that we couldn't understand real well. She stated that they were unaware of our reservation. She tried to send me a paper thru a text to give them authorization to take payment. I couldn't do anything with the paper it was not a PDF doc. It was getting dark outside, scary not knowing what was going on. The building was dirty, looks nobody has been there to clean in a very long time. I could go inside to see where the rooms were and it was gross. After we walked around the building I did not want to stay there and I did not want my daughter staying there.

NEVER STAY HERE!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!
There is no front desk. No parking. The entire building has an overwhelming smell of mold which is strong enough to make your eyes water. The rooms on the first floor have windows with no screens or functioning locks. You are sent a door code via text. Upon arriving and entering the facility you are greeted only by a mold covered stairwell. On of our rooms didn't have air conditioning, just a portable fan. We left after an hour to find formal accommodations!!!! Ran into another guest trying to enter the building. She didn't even receive an entry code and couldn't get in. She was on the phone with Bookings.com to cancel her reservation! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF GETTING ARRESTED AND STAYING IN A LOCK-UP CELL OVERNIGHT!!!!! HOTELS.COM SHOULD REMOVE THIS FROM THE SITE.

Really liked the fact that it is on the boardwalk, and a very short walk to the pier. The studio room was all updated and new. Nice patio seating with unobstructed view of the ocean. Was all we needed for a one night stay. Did have a small hiccup with room not being ready at the time of check in. But communicated and resolved issue quickly.

Bright note, it was on the beach and it was somewhat clean plus not in a bad location. Bad news... smelled a bit, water took 10 mins to get warm, there was no heater except for a small space heater, the couch had cigarette burns all over it, the upstairs guests during our 15 mins there were heavy walkers, smoke detectors disconnected, the entry had no lights what so ever, the door had no way to additionally lock from the inside, it was a bit chilly, no reserved parking so we had to drive around a bit, and this was not a hotel. It was more like an apartment complex for college students but paid Ritz Carlton price for it. We actually decided to leave and checked into a real hotel. Now, if I were a college student looking to party with with friends close to the beach. Perfect. Just not sure how a college student could afford it. That’s the good and bad.

The beautiful simple things in life.
The room was nice, clean. It felt like your bedroom in your apartment. It has that warm home feeling. It could use more amenities like 2 doors in the shower instead of one. Newer bedsheets (the ones on you can tell had been used a lot, they were clean) The bathroom did have a “wet dog smell” after the shower was used. We left the fan on and door open to get rid of the smell, after all the humidity was gone so was the smell. The Patio was ok, furniture needs some TLC, the exterior is not flashy at all. I did love the way the access to the building is granted, all by code. The Owner or Manager we dealt with was very nice and professional, she made us feel welcome. Overall for the price we paid, it wasn’t bad. Don’t think you’ll be walking into the Ritz, but definitely that nice simple apartment with a breath taking beach front view. We’ll be back with our girls soon. Thank you!

This place sucks.
How can someone own a place right on the beach and a short walk to the peir and have it be a dump. This may work for a group of drunk college kids but thats about it. In need of a major remodel. Million dollar view but not one room faces it. One tv that did not work. Windows had no screens and wouldnt stay up. Floorboards were coming up dont walk barefoot. Bed sucked. Kitchen but no dining area. This place for this location is third world. Stay away unless schools out and youre looking for a place for you and all your dorm buddies.

Location is fantastic! The property is right on the beach. 5 minutes walk to pier area. Very limited free parking but plenty of paid parking on the area. Room wasn't very clean and there are stains on the pull-out sofa. We had to open it and put our sheets ourselves, the sofa is broken so it is not an even surface. Check in process is easy - owner asks for picture of ID and texts back the code. We enjoyed it ! we booked last minute but I think if you book in advance you can have better value per night at other properties but this is a good option as well.
