We certainly don't hide that we are a retro motel and that is part of the charm. Our bathrooms are regularly maintained to ensure we can retain the original 1960s look and feel. Our strip heaters are in keeping with our retro style, however, if any of our customers need extra blankets, there are always some stored in the room and reception is always happy to provide more on request.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Unfortunately this motel does not have a guest laundry but there is a 24-hour laundromat nearby (1.5km). I apologise that the pool has been a little dusty lately. What with the ash from the fires, then the local dust and the red dust we have started getting now, it has been a struggle lately to keep the dust off the bottom of the pool. Our water is always great tho, and our pool, being semi-public, is also checked by Council. So pleased you had a good sleep. Thanks again.

Generally speaking there is only some noise during the day and the nights are very quiet with our rooms set back from the road. Unfortunately nothing can be done about the size of our bathrooms, which are a fairly standard sized ensuite with shower, toilet and small basin. I wish I knew which room you were in so I can inspect the airconditioner, but as you are anonymous there is no way I can find out unless you contact me to let me know. Our rooms are older style and we advertise the motel as a classic 1960s model. But we do strive to keep the rooms regularly painted and very clean.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Regarding our power points, there are two for guests to use in the actual room (one near the bed and one near the kettle/microwave). Most rooms also have a single power point in the bathroom. In some rooms we have a power board near the bed as well. I am sorry you had some problems. Hi Sue-Ellen. Thank you for time you have taken to review our motel. I am sorry, too, for your family's loss and that it wasn't the best reason to have some days away from home. And, there really is a reason that at the end of morning cleaning time you will see a mop that has been thoroughly cleaned and is spending time drying in the sunshine.
