I was told the hot tub is permanently shut down and the pool is temporarily shut down. Super bummed about that, especially the hot tub! Other than that, everything was great!

What a wonderful stay. I cant say enoigh about Heather and her top notch customer service for making our stay so pleasant and welcoming. The grounds and courtyard were beautiful and elegant. Once upon a time this mustve been such a high scale place to stay, and i hate to say anything negative but there is room for some well needed updatng and refreshing. I would absolutely still recommend a stay here.

Check in and out was very easy. There is a restaurant onsite. For dinner service, it was relatively quick. Expensive for what we received but kinda to be expected. Their brunch service took sooo long. We waited about an hour for eggs. Potatoes were crunchy and so was the oatmeal. Our rooms bathroom door did not close, bedspread was stained. The fire alarm went off at 3 am and there was no communication to guests. We basically all played a game of telephone trying to figure out if it was a false alarm. It was and apparently it’s not uncommon. I can say that the grounds are very unique and beautiful. The hotel is huge so it’s really nice to walk around.

It smelled like an old hotel that they freshened up but it’s still a damp musty hotel. The bathtub faucet was rusted through and there was drip marks in the bathroom wall paper. It was quiet and nice staff but needs some maintenance.

The hotel is way WAY outdated. More like a fancy motel. Don't expect complimentary anything (coffee, ice, bagel, muffin, etc.). The 'arboretum' is a joke (and it has safety issues). Otherwise, had a decent room but not worth the price paid.

Love this place!
This is not your typical hotel, and we love it! The layout is different. It is quiet, yet fun. The pool is in good shape, and the exercise room is also reasonable. We did not take the breakfast option because my family was nearby, but it really looks like it would be worth the upcharge.

The room was decent, however the bathroom was poorly cleaned as we immediately found what looked to be the remnants of someone's beaded/sequin sweater/outfit throughout the room, sewing needles on the bathroom floor, clothing hangers and crumbs under the couch cushions. Out keys locked us out every other day and only one worked on th final night we were there after having to again have them unlocked for the second time in as many days. The property itself was beautiful, and the restaurant looked very nice. Little bubble eating areas to keep you out of the elements but still offer outside dining was very nice. The info said renovations took place in 2019, but the building seemed to have some pretty decent ware to it.

Good location…ok rooms, pool area unhealthily over capacity, breakfast buffet only offered for breakfast, faulty exit doors..I was unable to EXIT entrance E early in the morning..somehow became locked from the INSIDE. Obviously a dangerous situation. Pillows uncomfortably thick…at the least a couple of different sized/shaped pillows should be offered.Noisy late at night in halls which we realize is pretty unavoidable. Maybe stressing quiet times more would help? More lighting in room would be better too…no light on one side of bed nearest sliding patio door…which reminds me, the patio was very UNinviting. Needed cleaning, repairs, and paint.

This was a very nice resort. The condition is on the older side so some refreshing of walls and furniture could use some attention. The mattress sagged in the center which made you roll to the center of the bed and when sitting on the couch the foot ottomans were too high for the couch. It was very clean though. We had breakfast there and for $20.00 per person I would have like the food to be hot and the breakfast meat needed to be cooked more.

Our room left a bit to be desired. Room design was awkward at best. Art work was bizarre. Coffee pot was difficult to access and was on top of the fridge which seems unsafe. You were not allowed to bring food into the hotel, but dining choices were limited, expensive and service was sporadic at best with long waits for service and food once it was ordered. Our waitress at dinner on Saturday night was exceptional, but we had a group of 14 and she could have used help. She managed extremely well and was pleasant. She deserves kudos. This hotel was very understaffed and had a lot of rules considering they didn’t have enough staff to accommodate needs. Kayla, the manager on duty on Saturday did an excellent job adressing our needs. The beds are way too soft.
