We came to NYC for a 3 day visit to see Little Shop of Horrors and Moulin Rouge. Discovered the hotel on Expedia. Very pleased with the whole experience at Paramount. We checked our bags at the hotel when we got in in the morning and went about our day and night and checked in and picked up our bags around 10:30. They are doing some construction on the lower level and scaffolding outside. The attached cafe is cute! Check-in and check-out were smooth, but be warned - you are billed for your stay at check-in. They wasted no time - the charge was in my cc acct the next morning. It was a very quiet hotel. No partiers! Beds and pillows were a bit soft. We were in room 1032, two double beds. Small, but suited our purposes. Never turned on the TV. Bathroom is very small, no fan. No fridge, clock or microwave, but there was a hairdryer and steamer for clothes in the closet with about 19 hangers. Small desk with chair. Fairly good view of the area . The hotel is very close to Times Square and is next to the Scientology building. There is a nicely priced coffee and pastry shop right at the corner. We walked to CBS Studios, NBC Studios/Rockefeller Center/30 Rock, Westside Theater and Al Hirschfeld Theater with ease. They have a service that got us to and from LaGuardia - there is a link on the hotel site. You have to have your room key to go up the elevator. There is no mini store in the hotel, so bring snacks and beverages in. Lobby is modern. Second level had privacy seating that had
