Fantastic location - close to theatres, restaurants and half a block from Times Square (the part where the seating is) - so the area is hopping! This is a boutique hotel (not too many guests) with the most amazing showers (great water pressure!), free coffee/tea and refillable water station (no need to buy water)! Room was fantastic - we had the Executive double queen room - very spacious. Staff was wonderful - we will definitely go back!

This property has changed ownership from the Kimpton Group. Unfortunate since the standard has dropped significantly. The front desk staff, especially the young woman needs training and an attitude change. She was totally unhelpful. Restaurant has apparently been closed since pandemic. When asked were to go for breakfast, no help. This used to be a wonderful hotel. The lighting in the bedrooms and bathrooms almost non existent. I asked for a tub and got a shower.

I loved the location of this hotel because we were less than one block away from Times Square if we walked left out of the front door and two blocks from 5th Avenue if we turned right. There is lots to do and see in either direction. Be mindful that there is no restaurant on site nor room service. This was not a major drawback since we were so close to many other places, but would have been a nice convenience at times. We had a minor snag when we checked in that was quickly resolved by moving us to a different room. Our first room appeared to be in the middle of a repair as there was no mirror in the bathroom. Other than that, we had no issues.

A bargain for the price however be aware there is no bar nor restaurant nor coffee in the rooms. We asked for a coffee machine and they were very nice about bringing us one..

This property is steps away from Timesquare. Walkind distance to several restaurants and pubs. Walking distance to subways, shopping etc..A very nice hotel in general. All the staff was wonderful. (It woukd be nice to have coffee in room but it is available for free, in the lobby area)

GREAT location! Only one block from Times Square. We were about to walk to SO MUCH! Would have preferred queen beds but the fulls were comfy. No view from our room but we were out and about all day so that didn’t matter. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel needs an update for the price we paid. There was no real curtains. The carpet and the bathroom is outdated. At night time it is very noisy. Like really you will hear it as if your outside. We stayed in a different hotel across this hotel and it wasnt noisy at all. The only good thing was the staff was so friendly. But wouldnt stay here again.

The best thing about this small hotel is the location. You’re right on a side street near Times Square. The rooms are average size in comparison to most hotels but probably big as far as New York standards. The hotel doesn’t have many amenities, not even coffee but of course you’re surrounded by restaurants and shops. I originally booked this place because I read a review that it’s not in the middle of Times Square so away from the noise. That was incorrect statement. Every night it was a bit hard to sleep with the loud noise coming from outside. Sirens, people shouting, music, cars horns… you name it we hear it. The cleaning crew don’t do a good job. When we arrived there was No hand soap for 2 days, no body wash and the bathroom floors and carpet smelled a bit. It has the smell of wet dog. We ordered DoorDash two days in a row, 2nd day the food was dropped at the front counter and the staff couldn’t even bother to call us to tell us we had a delivery. Overall, my stay was not great or terrible but I wouldn’t stay there again. Traveled with 2 adults and 2 kids.

Great location! Handy to theatres, Time Square, subways, & Rockefeller Center. Very friendly staff (especially Daniel) and clean rooms with larger bathrooms than most midtown hotels. Very quiet. Definitely will stay there again. Only complaint is towels are getting ragged and it would be nice to have more glasses in the room.

What an amazing stay. The bar/restaurant was closed when we were there but that didn’t matter because you are so centrally located. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and our room was gorgeous! So much space and when you are Sharing with a teenager that really counts. Also very quiet.

The property was good overall with the exception of slow elevators and scaffolding outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate size and the bathroom was very nice. The best part was the water pressure in the shower!
