Nice hotel. Very comfortable beds. Central (yet touristy) location 5 min walk to Bryant park. Loads of restaurants, cafes and subway lines right outside your door. Rooftop restaurant is very small. Food so so. It will do in a pinch. Front desk service was great. Oh the rooms are very small but that’s NY for you. We had room 707 with 2 queen beds. Hardly any room for luggage on the floor. It was very tight. If I had to stay in midtown again I’d choose this hotel again.

If the Garment District’s convenient for your needs, the Archer is a gem. The staff, the rooftop both views and food, and the general warm modern vibe was terrific. I was solo and requested a small room which was very nicely appointed and quite quiet. A great bed! The price point and what the Archer delivered were perfectly aligned.

The room was very nice with many amenities and although we were expecting small, it’s very small. The area was central to many tourist attractions. Roof top bar had a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. If this is your preferred area, it’s a great place to stay!

We stayed four nights with another couple for a long weekend of Broadway shows and nice dinners out. This was the perfect home base - we walked everywhere and it was a very comfortable home base. The bed was very cofortable, the lobby is a nice meeting place with a great vibe and the Spyglass rooftop patio overlooking the Empire State Building was a great place for a night cap to finish the day.

Loved the property the staff was awesome. Rooms small but very nice! Small is expected in NYC so not really a complaint. It wasn’t as close to subway as I usually like we did have to do a bit more walking staying here. But the property itself was awesome. I would definitely stay again. Roof top bar was nice as well.

While the hotel was clean and in a good area, we have stayed at several hotels in this very location that are much better for around the same price (none of these hotels were available for the weekend we were going). The walls are paper thin and not only could we hear a door shutting down the hallway, I was in the bathroom and thought my son was trying to leave the room because I thought it was our door that shut. We could hear full conversation and after hours activities in the rooms beside us. The resturant is very tiny and has a very limited menu for being located so centrally in NYC. There are only 2 elevators and one service elevation however the staff was constantly using the two guests elevators which lead to the constant congestion in the lobby. A WORD OF ADVICE!! Do NOT accept a floor on the lower level, you will have to wait a considerably long time when it’s time to check out or get off your floor as the elevator will always start at the top and the lower floors are last, so if there are a lot of people checking out with luggage you will be standing around for a while!!! The staff was fine, not overly nice and almost put out when there were more than 4 or 5 guests in line. The rooms and bathrooms are considerably small compared to similar hotels in the area. This hotel would never be my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice but in a pinch I would rebook if there was nothing else available as it is clean, safe and in a good location, however, for the money you can do MUCH better!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel to attend a Broadway play and spend the night in the city. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I've been satisfied each time. The hotel is in a convenient location that is walkable to all major attractions in the city. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The rooftop bar is also a fun time. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel close to everything! Front desk very accommodating. Rooms are small but very clean and everything you need is there. One thing that made us less that perfect was that we didn’t get a chance to check in early, and that used drink glasses from the bar sat in our room for a day until we set them out in the hallway, I think housekeeping forgot to pick them up. Other than that, great hotel. I would recommend it!

This hotel was amazing. Went above and beyond to have my room ready with balloons and a cupcake for my daughter’s 13th birthday. We walked EVERYWHERE from this location. It’s a lot- but do able! Every single staff member that helped was very kind. The rooms are cozy and the beds extremely comfy. I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Thank you!

Great location, staff were very friendly. We got a second floor room with absolutely no view but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Really liked the area, it’s far enough away from Times Square so that you aren’t bogged down by tourists but close enough to many attractions to be able to walk

Nice hotel with friendly staff who were always happy to help. If there’s one negative I have it’s that the room was on the small side but still pretty good value for money compared to other hotels.

The Hotel and staff were excellent. The food and bev at the Hotel were well above par and very, very good. Room was very small, even by Manhattan standards. I would definitely recommend this property as long as room size isn't a problem. Service and staff are great!

Have stayed there at least 3 times now first time back since the pandemic still the same great service cannot do enough to help. Location is great super quick to jfk take the rail road from grand central 10 minute walk so much cheaper than a cab.
