"Visited in June, so it was mostly quiet down around the hotel. Unfortunately our room 8th floor room was noisy with ongoing knocking and squeaking noise from the water system. Disappointed that they would assign this room —there’s no way they did not know this. Yes, we told the woman manager in the lobby. Walked everywhere. Only one Lyft ride to the must see WW11 museum. The room furnishings are dated, but very clean. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Nice cafes and coffee shops within a block. Riverfront, cooking school, Preservation Hall, and park around Cathedral were wonderful! Wear sneakers or comfortable walking sandals!"
