The hotel was lovely, the staff very nice, service was excellent, the concierge Kevin was the best.
I was disappointed with area in the French Quarters, very dirty, a lot of homeless people and the likes in the area, but that seems to be how the whole area was. Streets very close to one another. Thank goodness for the tours.
It is a nice property in a nice location. Would stay here again. I did have a few issues, but I am going to talk to property direct. I really don't like giving negative reviews-especially when maybe it was just an employee having an off day. But do make sure they are not having any private parties and closing the pool if you are wanting to use the pool.
Overall property was great . Great location near Bourbon and Canal you are located in the heart of the French Quarter. The ONLY down part to this hotel is no microwave not in the room nor common areas. So we couldn't bring leftovers from restaurants to the room.
The door men was great always greeting and making sure we were good.
Overall a very nice hotel. Convenient to all attractions, backs into Bourbon Street. Nice staff and clean lobby and inviting. Room large but pillows are way to hard and and a times unable to sleep due to all the walking, softer pillows would be wonderful. Overall was a nice hotel to stay at.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge Kevin. He went out of his way to find us fine, dining, and a few tours for our stay here in the city. The hotel is located in a great area close to everything.
Would definitely consider staying here again if I visit NOLA,….staff were very attentive and helpful (Tracy,Eric and Joey)…..checked in earlier than expected and my room was cleaned everyday with no problems, they even had yoga and a DJ by the pool
Great hotel and friendly staff. Had a suite, very quiet but did not have a window, did have doors out to an atrium which was lovely when you wanted to sit quietly.
the hotel and our room were beautiful. we had an early excursion booked and were allowed to store our luggage while we were out. when we returned we attempted to go in the back door but it was locked. there were a bunch of drug users/dealers there too. It didn't feel too safe and someone asked my husband if he wanted to buy drugs.
I guess that's why that back door is locked.
We enjoyed the property and staff was great. Wish there was a microwave in the room. Pool was good, needs a little updating, tiles around were not stable. All in all was a nice stay!
Aside from the fact that u need a fortune to do or eat anything, new orleans is the saddest dirtiest place ive ever visited. Shame on anyone promoting this place to anyone other than a wealthy alcoholic or pervert. If u love being begged for money every step u take, and risk ur life all the time ur outdoors, my husband was mugged 1/2 block from that hotel at 3 in the afternoon, then new orleans is the place for u
it's located in French quarter, very convenient. staffs are very nice, Joey and his manager are very nice, helped me with all my questions. there is live performance on Saturday night.
Room had high ceilings and was comfortable. Toilet liked to run but overall nice room and quiet for that area of town Room 480. But what a maze to get there from elevator lol. Hotel nice. Nothing splashy or unusual about it. Everyone very nice
The staff was extremely helpful, and delightful, from Ms.Ellie at the front desk to Jabari at the door and Philippe at the bar. This was My husband and I first time in New Orleans and The Hyatt Centric French Quarter was accessible to everything. We celebrated our anniversary here and we weren’t disappointed. The Gibson’s
Wonderful property. Staff was amazing!!! Friendly, professional, and always willing to help! Each and every person we came in contact with made us feel very special! We will definitely be back!!!
A wonderful hotel on the inside! The the rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. The restaurant, breakfast and drinks, are good and its staff is great.
However, when you step outside you are right on the end of Bourbon Street, so you have the noise and stuff thag comes with it.
When we arrived we had to leave our luggage and find something to do. No problem. We were early. However, because they allow late checkout, that means your checking also have to be late. That was an issue because we had 5:30 dinner reservations and we wanted showers. Well, the hot water system was broken. No hot showers all night. We did get a room change and still the showers were Luke warm. They charge for everything, including water and a destination fee. Little communication from the office about our situation. Too expensive to stay and not have all the conveniences.
They need better communication. A resort fee hit my card after I checked out. No one explained the resort fee. It wasn't about the amount. They also would not let me use the rolling butler cart by myself.
We were upgraded to a suite; however, our rooms were facing Canal Street, and every night there were motorcycles racing through the streets, and the noises were deafening. On top of that, there was loud music until 2 am.
It was impossible to sleep.
Overall, the hotel was very good. Very convenient. The food was good, but the service was very unorganized. Example; Ordered coffee with cream/milk. Came out with no milk. Took at least 5 minutes to get milk. Ordered oatmeal. Comes with brown sugar and milk. Oatmeal was bought to the table with neither. After asking twice, I was finished with my oatmeal before it was delivered to table.
