"This was my terrible experience while I was staying with family. I was paying approximately INR 5000 per night. The day I entered it was a bad impression.They don't provide any toiletries, Towels were wet(they said all towels are wet), room are dirty, bed linens are dirty, bed side table lights were broken. "Worst hotel with worst facilities . Room was stinking badly with dirt all over the room.. There wasn't even a dust bin but a bucket kind of thing in which people had spit... Red Gutkha spit all over the walls... Linen wasn't washed for years & had all dirt on it & was stinking... No Ventilation No Fan & flies all over... It was horrible... "Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. The property with beautiful gardens, a pool & cottages around it made us feel so relaxed and we felt bad when our stay was about to end. The persons at the reception were most polite and helpful to all our queries about how and where to visit around Manali. Every evening they had a map for us with all places marked out for our visits the next day. Of course I must mention the breakfast spread and few meals we had for dinner, just amazing. We will definitely come back & stay here again for our next visit. Thank you The Himalayan for making our holidays special."
