I had a driver for a weekend safari who was to drop me at the Jetwing Sea on Sunday night. due to my requests, we were very delayed and didn't arrive until midnight. I called ahead to see if we could get a cot put into my room because my driver was very tired and faced an 8 hr journey home. my reservation was for 2 nights, but I only wanted the cot for one night and no breakfast for the driver. they insisted multiple times that I had to pay extra for the cot, and also pay for breakfast and for two nights for him. I told them over and over that he would only stay one night and no breakfast. they finally quoted me $20 for that, but then they kept on saying that if he stays for 2 nights they will charge double (over and over they said this, no matter how many times I said he will only stay one night). it was like they thought I was trying to trick them and was being dishonest, even though this was my fifth year at this hotel. It was very rude. but anyway, I told them I agreed to the charge and that they should go ahead and put the cot in the room (this conversation was 3-4 hours before we arrived). when we got there, the cot was not there, and we had to wait for them to install it when it was very late and we were very tired, and I had business early in the morning. also, on check out day, I was sleeping in, and before 8am, they had staff out on my veranda cleaning and were banging on the furniture and window, and shouting to each other, waking me up. not appreciated.
