The Colony Club Inn & Suites

"The property was a bit of a disappointment. The staff would be helpful once and then completely unhelpful the next. We had to ask 3 different days to have our room stocked with 4 towels not 2 since there was 4 of us. The first day they said they would go get towels and never returned. The second the cleaning ladies told us we had to talk to the front desk to get towels. The front desk gave us a hard time about if we booked 4 people on the stay, which we did but it shouldn't matter if we are asking for towels. Be the third day we finally didn't have to fight fur them. The pool was under maintenance for more than half our visit. It was dirty with cloudy water. The "breakfast was a few boxes of cereal, eggs, some kind of meat, waffles, or a bagel, and the cheapest oj that tasted disgusting. You had to be there early because once the small helping was gone they did not refill. The "bar" on the property was one guy at night who had 3 types of alcohol and the same disgusting oh and some sodas. He was the nicest guy on the hole property, but that's not a bar. The pool loungers and chairs were so old they were no longer blue. They are gray. One even cut my arm with poles poking through the material when I tried to turn over it cut me. They 4 measly loungers and a couple of tables unlike the pictures that show chairs and loungers all down the side of the pool. I could go on, but the property was disappointing at best. Maybe a 3star out of 5. I'd say motel 6 quality....."

"Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers something for everyone. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The pools, beach, restaurants, and amenities exceeded our expectations. Every area of the resort was clean, well-organized, and designed to create a relaxing and memorable experience. The food was excellent, and there were plenty of activities for both adults and children. Traveling with our family, we truly appreciated how family-friendly the resort was while still feeling luxurious and upscale. The views were breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere made it difficult to leave. We created memories that will last a lifetime and would not hesitate to return. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, for an unforgettable vacation. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Nassau, Bahamas!"

"me and my s/o booked here, we was there for a good hour when we went to go turn the shower on the water pressure was REALLY LOW. the sink was clogged and the room/hallway had a stanch to it."

"Our stay was okay overall. The hotel itself was decent and had everything we needed, but the experience was a bit inconsistent. Some staff members were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to provide great service, while others seemed uninterested and not particularly welcoming. The room was comfortable enough, although the bed was not as nice as I would have expected in a 5 star - it was quite hard and uncomfortable. The location was convenient, but the mixed level of service made it difficult to know what to expect from day to day. With more consistency in customer service, this could be a much better experience. Not a bad stay, but there is definitely room for improvement."
