Our second time staying in this hotel. Overall it was a good stay. Start with the positive, the hotel condition is new and clean, our lakeview room is spacious and price is very good and affordable. Breakfast during weekday is perfect and offers good range of choices. Breakfast place is over crowded ob sunday during our stay, but this is understandable. , the check in experience was not very

Above and beyond
The staff at this property is amazing. Always there to assist. Rooms are awesome. Many choices on the property for food. Good location for taxi and car service pickup. Will always stay at this property when in Nanjing.

We booked this place last minute due to some travel delays stranding us in Nanjing for an extra night. Our room was spacious and overlooked a beautiful view of the lake, which was lit up at night and a gorgeous green/blue palette for the eyes during the day. Staff was quick to accommodate us, from bringing up a wine bottle opener to providing extra water and towels. We ordered room service (the blueberry cheesecake), took a long soak in the bath, and enjoyed a relaxing in-room for most of our stay. I checked out the gym (would be nice to have some free weights, it's mostly machines and quite small) and pool. Mini-bar selection wasn't great, but the room-service menu and surrounding food options (most of which conveniently deliver and drop off at the concierge) made up for that. Would love to stay here again next time I'm in Nanjing!

So-so service, comfortable place
Room service took forever and everything was predictably cold after I called for a second time to have it sent up. Some guest was making a huge row at the reception desk which left one lady in tears and created a significant delay checking in. Outside of those two incidents, it was fine. Clean and comfortable. There is an area with many restaurants about a five to ten minutes walk away. Reasonably priced for a Marriott.

Best hotel in the local area
Best hotel in the area but not city. Not too far from the Airport or South train station when compared to hotels downtown. Malls and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel. Should have better WiFi
The stay was amazing except for one major thing. The WiFi has all non Chinese sites blocked. Thus it was a pain to do any work online. Being an international hotel, the WiFi should have been less restrictive. Other than that, the hotel was very good with nice breakfast, awesome staff, and great service.

Beautifully appointed hotel with large and well laid out rooms. It was one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Even though the hotel is less than one year old, there are small signs that maintenance is poor. Visitors should provide feedback to the hotel about these issues.

As good as it gets...
The hotel didn't disappoint - it is as good as a Marriott hotel can get. The comfort and the warm service aside, the hotel's heated pool in the winter is definitely a great draw. The hotel is about 10mins walk away from two major shopping malls so shopping and food is well taken care of. It is also relatively near to major tourist attractions (15 - 30mins ride) and is convenient to get about. There is a park directly across the hotel which offers much serenity.

Great stay.
Overall a great stay was had. Normally stay at the near by Golden Eagle but will 100% be making this my go to Nanjing hotel. Staff are amazing, can't do enough to help and when I did have a issue (power socket not working in the lounge) it was dealt with swiftly and fixed quickly.

service needs to be improved
1. have booked the hotel on line with the term paying at hotel with 3 b/fast. However, when checked in, the lady said it's been charged to my credit card and there is only one 2 b/fast included. I asked her to double check and result is still the same. until late at midnight they have informed me with correct info.2. swimming pool was in maintenance so it defeat the purpose to book this hotel as my son always wanted to go to the pool in the hotel. 3. the front desk guy came up when our key card didn't work at night when came back, he was ignoring me and walked to my husband to explain the situation on point 1 while my husband doesn't speak Chinese so he ended up speak to me. not sure how I understand the situation that I was there waiting for him, and he ignored me and went to my husband for it. 4. Hotel room is new and clean, however there are a lot of sharp edges/corners that kids may get hurt easily. I had to asked my son to be very careful however this could be avoided when designed the rooms and furniture...

Die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind sehr gut. In der ersten Nacht wurde mir trotz City View Buchung und Silber Status ein Zimmer mit Aussicht auf eine Betonwand gegeben. Dieses wurde dann aber am nächsten Tag auf meine Nachfrage hin zu einem ordentlichen High Floor getauscht. Einen Abend wurde uns vor der Nase einfach die Hotelbar geschlossen, ohne Nachfrage oder Möglichkeit zu einer Bestellung für ein letztes Getränk. Das sollte möglich sein und kam uns etwas unfreundlich vor da wir noch zu arbeiten hatten. Ansonsten ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

พนักงานดีเยี่ยมมากค่ะ บริการดี สื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ไม่ต้องกังวลว่าไปแล้วจะมีปัญหาเรื่องการสื่อสาร ทางโรงแรมมีการเตรียมพร้อมรับมือนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติไว้ดีมาก สถานที่ก็ดีเยี่ยมมากค่ะ ห้องสะอาดและใหม่ ห้องน้ำดีมากค่ะ แยกส่วนเปียกส่วนแห้งชัดเจน มีอ่างอาบน้ำให้ แม่บ้านดูแลทั่วถึงและน่ารักมาก อาหารเช้าถือว่าครบครัน มีทั้งแบบฝรั่งและแบบเอเชีย อร่อยเกือบทุกอย่างค่ะ โรงแรมอยู่ใกล้ห้างสรรพสินค้าหลายแห่งและสถานีรถไฟ Baijiahu ของเมืองหนานจิง เดินไปราวๆ 10 นาทีก็ถึงค่ะ แถวๆ นั้นมีสวนสาธารณะใหญ่มากด้วย ประทับใจค่ะ

멀지 않은곳에 지하철 역이 있어서 교통은 그럭저럭 괜찮았지만 주변에 관광할만한곳은 없어서 아쉬웠습니다. 쇼핑몰은 몇개 있어서 식사할곳은 많습니다.

Marriott with flaws
New hotel with a good location, not far from metro, shopping and bar district 1912. The room lack some basic things like a desk where you can sit and do your work. I guess most of the guests are there for business. The floor had problems, felt like walking on a diving board in some areas. Sharp tile pieces detached from the floor in the shower. The shower also had a huge bench which you were not allowed to sit on for some reason. The over head shower did not work, it sprayed all the water onto the walls. There are no washing line where you can hang your wet clothes. The gym facilities were good but temperature was crazy hot. Also big confusion about the dinner tickets I bought. Asked many times and got different answer every time about who and how often they can be used. Invited two colleagues also staying at the hotel for dinner and had to argue long time about using the tickets I already paid for.
