Nice hotel on a quiet street, close to most attractions. There are many restaurants in the area, and a bar / restaurant at the hotel. Parking is available for a fee at a garage right next door. The hotel is clean, safe, friendly.

The hotel is located within the walking distance from the city center’s attractions. There are restaurants on the same street, and there is a bar and a restaurant at the hotel. The reception and red team is great - friendly and professional. The cleaning ladies are not very attentive, we had to remind twice to replace the towels, and the shower gel did not get refilled. The rooms are small, it the hotel is new & fresh. Good choice if you do not expect anything fancy. The hotel has a garage, open 24/7, very convenient.

Located in an area I would not like to walk around on my own. Close to the main station which means road noise from trams etc. It is very shabby & feels dirty. The carpets in the room have seen better days & I kept shoes on throughout my stay. Contemporary decor includes odd bed side lamps with cables hanging above pillows & your face. Bathroom had an odour of a public WC & as it is small made the experience unpleasant. Toilet and shower stall very stained. Water was v hot though. There was a weird buzzing sound which went all night that could not be located. Check-in staff on arrival were unkempt but friendly however the night receptionist was surly. Not much positive to say about this hotel.

Great hotel near train station, staff friendly and helpful. Trams outside vibrated the hotel and were noisy throughout the night, but not the hotels issue. Recommended for Train station stop overs

Highly recommend!
Room condition was good. Managers were very kind. Above all, location of hotel iz perfect for travellers to Munich. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who will visit Munich.

Practical hotel - notice "free" internet :(
Room was very small but well organized. Many restaurants in the area, all tough the area is a bit shabby. "free" internet will last for 15 min, don't even think you can watch a movie on netflix, it just stops without any warning. Some tracks are coming to the hotel early morning - should keep windows closed.

Veery close to the central station, super convenient locatin with lots of dining options. Breakfast was very good, the vriety of cheese and the waffle cooker was my favorite. The room was also clean and comfortable for its price point. Highly recommended.

Ibis Muenchen City is in a great location if you are coming in via train and very close to the shop on Hop off Bus Tour. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming! Only complaint is the bed was uncomfortable- understandable as it is budget hotel.

Great location and friendly staff
On arrival we were advised that if we are light sleepers to wait for one of the rooms in the back otherwise we could early check in. We were glad to check in early and we are not light sleepers so it suited us. The young gentleman at the desk also advised us where to get reasonably priced octoberfest pieces. The rooms were ok everything you need, the toilet and shower were very tight, I guess it’s an old building so rooms are tiny in general. All the staff we came across were very friendly. Thing to note that during octoberfest, hotel and most places apart from supermarkets do not accept card just cash. The hotel was greatly located with cafes nearby and supermarket 10mim walk, the central train station 7 minute walk, Marienplatz 20 mins and octoberfest 20mins. There is also metro station and a tram if you prefer to take public transport.

The hotel is a typical IBIS, but our 5th floor room was smaller than other hotels we have used. This is the only reason I didn't give all 5 stars

Basic but good
Visiting Munich, we wanted somewhere central but also cheap. This the Ibis is. Our room was small, as was its bathroom, but the only complaint was that it was noisy outside. (It was a city centre, on a Friday night, which is why we pack ear plugs)

Great customer service
The hotel was in a good location, a 5 min walk to the station. The staff were very happy, friendly and helpful, especially when I needed a pharmacy on a Sunday, (normally everything is closed on a Sunday). The room was compact but had the essentials.
