The pool was closed due to broken glass and the front desk stated that there was a maintenance person on the premises and will hopefully get to it shortly. I never saw anyone attempting to resolve the issue and the closed sign was still up the next morning. It seemed as if there was only one person on staff for the evening. The indoor pool and hot tub was one of the reasons that we chose this hotel. It would have been more helpful to be more transparent in saying that the pool will be down all day and night. The room was clean; however the closet door would not shut and it looked like duct tape was used to attempt to fix. A few spots where the paint was chipped on the walls. Suggestion: Add an extra waffle iron for the breakfast bar because it was a popular item. Overall the hotel was clean, convenient and the beds were comfortable.
