"Noisy but ok"

"We came to Dunedin for a tour of the University, so Alexis Motor Lodge was perfect for our stay as it is very close. Also close to the shops. Although a little dated, it was very clean, totally adequate and had everything you would want. The beds were very comfortable (also had electric blankets!) and Holly on the desk was super friendly and very helpful eg booking our shuttle for us to the airport when we left. I would definitely recommend Alexis and would stay again. "

"Very lovely staff who were friendly and welcoming. A real personal touch. There's a very nice bar area for gathering and meeting up. Garden area beautiful and I think all the trees and landscaping help to muffle any road noise because it was very quiet at night"

"Excellent stay. An upgrade (I’d asked for the possibility of a room with a bath) was much appreciated. Room and bathroom size excellent. Bed and Pillows excellent, room service excellent, and staff all excellent. Hotel atmosphere is understated luxury and location right in the CBD ideal. One of the quietest rooms in terms of internal and external noise I’ve ever stayed in. Certainly the aircon was the quietest I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Dunedin."
