This place is OBVIOUSLY old. The cleaning is subpar. There is dust built up along the walls. There was an ant problem in the bathroom. The phone and half of the outlets in the room didn’t work. And the information provided at check-in was old and inaccurate. That being said, the place was quiet, pet friendly, and served its purpose.

As your dogs were not kenneled and left unattended in the room we were not able to have housekeeping clean during your stay, but have corrected the issues you mentioned. The staff at Red Arrow are the true gems of this establishment. Welcoming, courteous, and always eager to assist, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. From providing local recommendations(great Mexican restaurant minutes away) to promptly addressing any inquiries, their genuine warmth and professionalism were evident throughout. The rooms at Red Arrow Inn and Suites are a haven of comfort. Impeccably clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed, they strike the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetic appeal. The tasteful artwork and soothing color palette created a serene atmosphere, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. An average roadside stay. The property could use a renovation - or at least new carpets, but the rooms are spaciious. Billed as pet-friendly, but please let them know early directly as it seems notes don't make it to them. There is a large back lawn area for exceecising dogs which is nice!

Breath of fresh air
After having stayed the night prior at a Motel 6 in Grand Junction with the filthiest mattress I had ever seen, we came to Montrose to Red Arrow Inn which was like a breath of fresh air. The lady at the front desk was so kind and caring, they had treats set out for the taking, and had items to choose from for the packed breakfast the next morning. Our room was large, clean, and had a very comfortable mattress. We were so grateful, and truly will come back again.

TV was broken and could not locate a night manger for solution. hot tub had a smell to it. lots of people congregating in the parking lot near our car created an unsafe feeling. watching tires being taken off of one car and put on another was entertaining though.

The hallway was filthy. It smelled old and musty. The door to the building didn't lock so anyone could roam randomly. Our refrigerator and floor lamp were non-operational. One light bulb was missing from the bedside lamp. I tried calling the front desk, but no one answered. For $167 I expected a cleaner hotel. I'd rate this place a one star, if that.

There was no hot water - we were told for days they were working on it but never got hot water. The air conditioning didn't work. The room was always hot. The rooms were dirty. The place was awful. The only thing it had going for it was the customer service was good.

Unfortunately, there are things we cannot control like a hot water system going out and we are not located in a big city where replacements are readily available, we did however compensate you for the inconvenience. Had you let us know of the rest of the issues we would have been happy to see if we could have solved them for you. It appears that you did not allow housekeeping in your room but once or twice your entire stay, but we would have been happy to look at the air conditioning for you. We hope your new accommodations met your needs.

The pool and sauna were out of order, the room was filthy, there were bug crawling inside the room. Overall? It was the WORST room I have ever stayed in.
