The rooms are not safe.....the power is insufficient for the appliances that the HOTEL has plugged in. Multiple times during my stay the electrical shorted out in my room....and i never plugged anything in. The electrical was so bad there was only 1 outlet i could use ti charge my phone

The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly. The in-room coffee maker is a Keurig machine. The breakfast was very good. The microwave ovens in the breakfast area are available all the time, so we were able to heat up food we brought and eat comfortably there without messing up our room. The hotel is very close to the highway; there is some road noise. Almost all the streets are one way, so driving from the parking lot across the street to stop in front of the hotel may take 5-10 minutes. The hotel itself has no driveway, so if you arrive in the afternoon when parking in front of the hotel is prohibited, then stopping to check in and unload is difficult. The location of the hotel would have been good if Autoroute 40 worked well, but during our short time in Montreal speed on the Autoroute was very slow. The hotel is not close to downtown or anything else we visited; there is a metro station less than a kilometre away.

Parking was very convenient, could use lighting for night time. The first room had a dirty toilet which was addressed to the cleaners and all they did was use a towel that they were randomly carrying to wipe it without any disinfectant. After having to change rooms twice, the room we ended up with was missing hangers and a main garbage bin. The breakfast food looked alot better than it tasted. The dining room needs some fresh updating and should not connect to a private room. Complimentary toiletries consistes of two shampoos and two conditioners but no lotion. The gym had no yoga mat, the equipment was in fairly good order. There was nothing to clean to gym equipment with and there is no general privacy because the gym is right off the elevator. Hotel lists having a pool but there is no pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

So I stayed my first night on the 25th March 2024 and had minor dinning accommodation issues. My business meeting got extended and I spent an additional night, the 26th. On my way back to Toronto on the 27th, I noticed bite marks all over my body. I visited the hospitalon the 28th and the doctor confirmed they were bed bug bites. I called the manager of the hotel immediately and informed him of the bites. He promised to send his facilities supervisor to inspect the rooms and get back to me, It is 24 hours and no feedback. Terrible.

I had a back ache and the chairs at the dinning were not great for my back. I asked to have my breakfast at the couch in the reception or my bed in my room but I was turned down and forced to have breakfast in the dinning area. But if I do order food from outside, I am allowed to take it to my room or anywhere else in the hotel.

I have several observations about this hotel that I feel compelled to share. While some aspects have already been mentioned, I'd like to provide my perspective as well. Firstly, there is no extractor fan in the bathroom, which posed an inconvenience for my family of four. We had to purchase a Fabreze odour spray to mitigate this issue. Additionally, the noise emanating from the event area downstairs was excessively loud, disrupting our sleep. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk, we were informed that there was nothing they could do to address it. Furthermore, the room opposite ours was undergoing repairs, resulting in disruptive drilling and sawing noises as late as 8 pm on one occasion. The lack of soundproofing in the rooms exacerbated this problem, as we could hear every noise from neighbouring rooms, including a check-in process at 3 am. Moreover, the bathroom tubs are narrow, and I unfortunately slipped, resulting in a swollen knee. Regarding the breakfast, it was passable, but lacking in variety. Notably, there was no waffle machine, and the fruit selection was limited to just oranges. The muffins were oddly cut into quarters, and the juices were diluted with excessive ice, diminishing their flavour. Additionally, I found that half of the gym equipment was out of order. On a positive note, the parking facilities were satisfactory.

It was my second time staying at this property, all is good until my morning shower, no hot water, the faucet head was loose and leaking. I had to tighten it up by hand. The water was not hot without a . When checking out I asked if there’s anything could be done to compensate me in regards, and I was told there’s nothing that they could do as I booked through you and not directly with them. I am extremely disappointed in all of this, as it was still a comparable price with other hotels in the area

I booked a suite with a kitchen and called the week before arriving to double check if I would need to specifically ask for any kitchen equipment, having a strange feeling the kitchen might be empty with no amenities to use. I was told when calling that I would simply need to ask when I checked in and they would provide "everything". When I checked in and asked, I had to name specific items that I wanted. I asked for some plates, cutlery, a kettle but forgot dish soap (who would think this isn’t in a kitchen?). When we got to the room, kettle was missing from the requested items and there no soap or even a dish towel because I had not asked them, I supposed. Walked down to the front desk and asked for a kettle. Only to be told there are none. Why didn't she tell me when I asked the first time? While I was there, I asked for dish soap and I was told I could get it in the morning because It needs to come from the maid, so I had to ask tomorrow. Weird ... Rinse, repeat the next day: asked for it @ desk, it never came. Then I saw a staff member in the hall cleaning. I decided to ask him; he said I probably have to ask Sandy but he will try and find her. Long story short? I finally interacted with a maid who got me some soap. She was visibly surprised there was none in the the room. She brought me a towel to wash the dishes with. At this point I was happy to get anything but it’s weird to have to wash your dishes with a face towel.

Hi Kevin,After thorough inspection of the housekeeping logs of notes and photos that are done post every room inspection, we can see that the room that you stayed in passed its inspection completely. You checked in for 15 minutes and insisted for a refund or you would leave (to which we shared you booked a non-refundable rate with Expedia and that was not possible). If the room was not to your satisfaction, we would have been happy to change rooms for you. We hope to be able to offer that to you in the future.
