The hotel is convenient and easy to find on the outer edge of the city, and we took taxis into the centre rather than driving. The receptionist was very helpful whenever I had reason to ask and gave lots of details of how to use the Metro system to get around.

Coming back from a trip the outside area of the property was dar, the light posts were not lit. Brought it up to the desk manager and was not seemed concerned. There was no security checked done if areas are well lit or safe for the guests. There were electricity outages 3 times started at 2:22 am, which woke us up due to the microwave made loud sound. The smoke alarm battery sounded off beeping at 5:33 am the following morning, which again unable for us to sleep. Obviously no maintenance checks were done on smoke detectors.

Nothing special for such an expensive price. Very average hotel. Hotel wouldn't even negotiate the price for a teenager needing overnight accommodation due to a flight cancelation.

Can one bad apple spoil the whole basket?
When we walked into our room, we were greeted with a very foul smell. It was late at night when we checked in so my wife said not to say anything because we wouldn’t be there that long. We thought we’d get use to the smell, but never did. Added to the smell was the poorest breakfast offering we have ever seen at a Hampton Inn. One nice thing about our room was the bathroom had been recently remodeled and was pretty nice. This was by far the worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. I mentioned the nice bathroom and foul smell to the desk clerk when we checked out. We wondered why the parking lot wasn’t very full when we checked in. We got the answer to that question after living this experience.

The property was convenient to get to from the airport. The property was clean, quiet and inviting. The staff was exceptionally welcoming. From my very first call to make the reservation, Chelsi (whom I spoke with at the front desk), was extremely courteous, polite, and friendly. That same feeling was spread throughout our stay. If ever in the area again, I would certainly plan to stay there.

For the most part the hotel was clean, offered good service and was conveniently located. But, it’s the small details that can make or brake and experience. First problem was the initial room we were given had a strong musty odor that made it impossible to stay. Secondly, in the room where we were moved the bed sheets had stains in it. Some quality control is needed in this facility.

My Car got stolen from the parking spot opposite main entrance on the very first night of our stay. The management did not even have courtesy to offer a word of sympathy and regret that it happened at their location. Never again will we come back too this place.

If you choose this hotel, it might ruin your whole vacation. If I could, I will rate this Hampton Inn(3 star hotel) as 0 star. I booked this place on May 21st 2023 through Expedia for 1 night(July 8). My credit card was charged immediately. On July 6, I received one email from this facility, the hotel was overbooked and they couldn’t accommodate my stay. They provided me the option to put me in Comfort Inn ( 2 star hotel). This is cheating to the customer. Comfort Inn was cheaper when I made the reservation. Where can I find one hotel two days before the stay? I have to accept this option, but Hampton Inn didn’t want to refund me anything. Keep in mind that Hampton Inn would charge your credit card and put you in a different and cheaper hotel. Update: when walked in the bathroom, no soap and no shampoo was found. I didn’t expect to pay 3 star hotel to get this kind of service.

Excellent experience with a very friendly staff
I stayed it with my family and another friends family for 4 nights recently. My overall experience was very good. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast food options are pretty good and they keep replenishing it constantly. The rooms were clean and looked renovated. Very happy with the stay.

Great stay in Dorval
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Customer service was great. The room was clean and spacious. I like the breakfast options. It is right off the highway which makes it convenient for traveling. It’s less than 25 mins from downtown Montreal. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again.

Staff was very nice. Originally our room was not ready when we arrived at 3:10pm for check-in, but I had a function to attend that night and needed to get showered and ready asap. The manager made sure to find another room for us immediately. Our room was clean and spacious with a sitting couch, microwave and mini-fridge. There is coffee, hot chocolate, hot water and real cream available in the main lobby at all times, which was really convenient and a nice change from just having the in-room brewer with coffee whitener. There is plenty of parking on-site. The only thing I would say is that the location is not conveniently walkable to nearby amenities if you do not have a car because the hotel is location on the service road off the highway. Overall a very pleasant stay.
