Perfect for a family
Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 nights we were there, there was some event happening across the bridge, and the loud music was going on till the end of night. But since we were in the family room, I was able to go into the second part of the room with the bunkbed and sleep there. Apart from that it was great. They have the AC, the window and TV on the adult side of the room, and on the kids side was kinda in another room, with some privacy but no doors in between. My son was elated with the room. It had a small desk and his own TV. The garden was large and awesome, with a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, lounging chairs, ping-pong table, a place to park bike, a tables to eat. The breakfast buffet was good. There is free parking spaces one minute walk away. The town is beautiful. Hotel is near the beautiful river, perfect for a walk, and to go to restaurants etc. There is kayaking place just across the river. I absolutely recommend this place, especially if you want to visit Lascaux IV. You can walk there from the hotel. The only thing to note is that though they give an opening and closing time for the swimming pool and jacuzzi, at the opening time they were only starting to set them up (cleaning, etc). So that even an hour after the opening time, the jacuzzi still wasn't warm. So don't expect to have a dip in the morning before going somewhere. All in all, I recommend. I would go there again - I would just check for any night festival happening, and not book on the same date.

I like that you were 5 minutes walk away from montignac town centre. The rooms are compact, bathroom small, breakfast is continental..croissants, choc au pan, cereal, toast, bread , ham and cheese. Outside facilities were very much needed after a day sightseeing. Swimming pool and sitting outside the pool area. When reception is blosed you have to find another way to get to the pool and outside area.

Good but air conditioning in room needs upgrading
Room was comfortable enough. The hotel is well situated. Staff/owner are not smily but nice enough. The huge downside was the air conditioning, outdated, so noisy we couldn't sleep but so hot that you couldn't sleep without it on!

wonderful
We stayed one night . We arrive late, after front desk time, the owner was waiting for us to open the door. The parking is 50 steps . The room was already heated for us. We got a 1st floor room as I asked. The breakfast was wonderful. I saw the hotel has a garden and a pool for those who are coming on Summer. It is 3 min drive to Lascaux cave !!! Every think was great !!!

A week in Montignac
Le P'tit Monde is an excellent location for visiting the nearby caves, grottos and museums. With Lascaux IV due for completion in Dec 2016 Le P'tit Monde is ideally located within a Kilometer from the complex. The staff are most welcoming and the hotel atmosphere is congenial.

Odeur dans le jardin !!! Désolé ont a pas acheté les plantations environnantes !!!mobilier vieillissant oui j’avais oublié qu’il faut tout jeter tout les ans !!! Peu entretenu le jardin c’est vrai nous fermons l’espace piscine l’après-midi pour pouvoir tondre tranquillement !!! Je pense que vous devriez aller dans un établissement de standing supérieur pour vos exigences !!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour : personnel accueillant, chambre agréable et propre, bonne literie, bon buffet de petit déjeuner, piscine (un peu froide), jacuzzi Les seuls bémols sont la pression de l’eau, le parking un peu loin quand on est chargés. Par ailleurs, nous avions pris une chambre sans Clim mais nous l’avons regretté car nous avons eu très chaud, et la fenêtre donnant sur rue ne pouvait pas rester ouverte à cause du bruit de la route (par contre, elle isole du bruit, on n’entend quasiment rien une fois fermée).
