I booked and paid through Expedia but the hotel charged $131 on my card. They deny the charges but my bank statement clearly shows the transaction as complete. ...having to dispute the charges now...smh!

One ice machine on the first floor (my room 3rd). No ice bucket in the room. No hand soap in the bathroom. No type of breakfast yet your surrounding comps offer some type breakfast. It’s 2024 customer shouldn’t have to settle and I for one will not. Bad experience and will not stay here again.

Since you asked....The aesthetics and staff were nice. After waiting for room 45 minutes after check in Time it slowed me down to get to an event on time. Then no addtional towels (wash clothes or hand towels or body towel). We had just one towel. No body wash in the shower which I didn't find out until I was in the shower. I wish I knew bc I had already came down for towels. The shower floor and doors wasn't cleaned either. I be would stay again, but would expect a better do over.

It took quite awhile to get checked in, but I think the gentleman behind the counter was new…Apparently we had the third level as our room since we booked through a 3rd party…I asked the front desk manger if we could have a bottom floor since we were in town for a softball tournament…She was very accommodating…She was super nice and gave us a floor on the 1st level…Asked for a late check out and that was granted as well!! Except housekeeping knocked on our door @ 10:15 and we weren’t scheduled to leave till 12pm…No biggie!! Overall great stay and would stay there again! Close to a lot of restaurants

Anniversary trip
We love staying at Candlewood. The hotel is quiet, in a great location, had just been newly renovated, they have one of the few beds that are more comfortable than ours, love their walk-in showers, staff was friendly, and they are also a pet friendly hotel.

The main thing I felt like the hotel was dirty. The floors in our room and bathroom just didn't feel clean. There were people hanging out at the end of the sidewalk in the outside sitting area. Someone pulled up playing loud music. Just overall didn't feel very comfortable staying there with my family. Oh, and never could find the remote to the TV. I unfortunately will not stay here again.

The first room we entered using the room key given to us by the front desk, someone’s belongings were still in the room. We got a second room assignment and when we entered that room, another hotel guest was in the room. Finally, the third room was empty.

Candlewood Suites is easy to get to right off the interstate. The staff was super nice and friendly. I would recommend this place for anyone that is wanting somewhere reasonable price. A lot of places to eat and shop. Use to be from Montgomery but live in Lawrenceville, Ga.
