I just want to say that the best location is located with easy access to the beach, all the shops, and restaurants. Everything was good except the room smelled bad.

We enjoy our stay at the hotel, Joseph was was an awesome attendant, took care of us immediately when we pulled up. The food was great in Jacks Monterey.

This was a really BEAUTIFUL hotel that was close to different attractions as well as a vast variety of dining options. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I ever come back to Monterey!

Notified staff phone in room not working could not contact staff without going out to hall by elevators or going all the way down. They said would get engineer to repair they never did at least it was not fixed we stayed 3 days

My preferred choice for a Hotel when staying in Monterey. Conveniently close to the warf lots of different dining choices and just a genuinely comfortable stay! I had the best Mother’s Day weekend here !

It was a pretty large room. The outdoor area was a bit weird as it had a small outdoor area that led to nothing. We were there the weekend of a wedding so the self parking was all full and we had to pay a bit extra for valet as that was the only option. It was an ok property, I think it is great for the location, as it’s in the middle of everything.

All of the staff were very friendly. Jacks restaurant downstairs was excellent, especially the breakfast. 👏 We ate there once for dinner (Kobe beef sliders and Calzone) and three times for breakfast (omelet and Eggs Benedict and French Toast). There was a mixup in the beginning with the rooms (wrong room type and were not available till 5pm). But overall a great experience.

When I made the reservation they told me my room had a balcony, when I get there I get a room 381 next to the loudest sliding guest door in the building and no balcony couldn’t sleep because of it thanks for ruining my stay. Constant opening and closing a nightmare location.

Or opinion it was not worth the $400 per night average day and up. It’s a nice facility but older you can hear people walking by and opening and closing their room doors. The rooms were clean the linens were clean. You are really just paying for location the rooms are just average, considering what you have to pay. I would stay here again only if I really had to and there was no other lodging available.

Front desk staff was very welcoming, pleasant, and helpful. Beautiful and comfortable lobby area with plenty of seating, a reading room with a selection of art and design books, and a computer and printing room my kids loved. The property is so welcoming for dogs and I was happy to see so many well-behaved guest dogs with their owners throughout the hotel. The property is SO much closer to Fisherman’s Wharf than I had realized and surrounded by a wide variety of dining snd shopping options. The beds and pillows are SO comfortable and the room was unexpectedly quiet. It’s one of the quitest nights I’ve had in a hotel room ever. Spacious bathroom, nice lighting options in the room. We did not use the pool but it looked great and we’ll try it out next time we visit.

Our room was next to the maids closet, it was noisy and the hotel was so large you had to hike down multiple hallways. I asked for a ground floor room and got a 4th floor room. The pics of this hotel look way nicer than the reality.

An excellent sleep in a very comfy bed, the hotel is well located in the best area of the city. The only black spot is the pool, located right at the exit of Monterey bypass tunnel then no need to pack your swimwear, unless you enjoy chilling with a highway background noise.
