This is an older property, but it seems to be reasonably well maintained. The owner/management clearly cares, with potted flowers spread around the grounds. The lack of air-conditioning might be a negative in the eyes of most, but all of the rooms had good cross-ventilation, and nights on the Monterey peninsula tend to be cool and there was strong, telescoping stand-mounted, 3-speed, selectable oscillation fan.
The bathroom, particularly the tub, could benefit from a rehab, but it was clean. Towels were clean and plentiful, with travel-size soaps and shampoo provided.
The room had a min-fridge, a working iron and ironing board, a television with DirecTV, a king-sized bed, desk and chair, two night stands and bed-side lights with controls that could be reached from the bed.
I would stay at this property again.
