I had an early check out at 6 am. Hotel computer was not operating, so I couldn't get a receipt or confirmation of security deposit refund. I have since received an email stating room charge made, however no refund of the $100 security is in the statement.

Please feel free to contact our front desk agents to confirm the email address we have on file is correct, if you did not receive it. As per your security deposit, it is a 100.00 authorization that is held until check-out. Depending on your bank, it may take up to 3-5 business days to appear back on your credit card. You can contact your bank to confirm. The security deposit does not appear on the receipt, as it is not a charge only an authorization to ensure funds are available. We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope to serve you better in the future.

We payed 200 bucks a night for what accounted for a 79 dollar a night old school dive motel from an horror movie The property is so run down and dirty and stained and the staff run ragged. Kids running up and down the halls till 1230 am All the lamps in the room and plugs didn’t work except one This place is in need of closure and 20 million in renos. I used to be in the industry and would be ashamed to work in a property that rough especially for that kind of money. The pics really fool you and I feel me and my wife got duped into dropping boutique hotel money on a horror movie hotel The staff were great and tried with what they have to work. This review and the honest truth needs to ring to the ownership group of the property. Fix your property it’s brutal !!!!

So the people were amazing. Staff are great. Super friendly and helpful especially when the room we booked had a leak we were upgraded to a queen suite for the same low price we booked at. The building is what you'd kinda expect from a Day's Inn. The fitness centre is terrible. Like have your tetanus shots utd. This is entirely because the equipment is next to the pool/hot tub area. The pool is very nice and warm. The hot tub is set to boil lobster/witches brew temps lol. The breakfast was actually quite good! Omelettes made to order, pancake machine, muffins (super stale), bagels, cereals, scrambled eggs(meh), homefries (stale). The beds are solidly stiff. Outside there's a LOT of cigarette butts. The Dining Lounge restaurant in the building makes great food at reasonable prices. However because it's a bar you'll likely get rowdy drunks at night especially on Friday and Saturday night.

Check in was at 3pm when we showed up at 3:55pm, our room was not ready and was told that it wouldn't be ready until 4:30pm. We came back at 5pm to be sure it was ready and when we got to our room the room was still dirty, there were crusty patches on the couch and the floor in the kids room was sticky. When I went down to make a complaint all they offered was to send someone to clean it. I told them we did not want to be disturbed, only because of the awkwardness of having the cleaner come back to the room they just cleaned 30 mins prior to do a better job while we are in there would have been uncomfortable. So they said they would leave a note on file so that a manager could speak we me in the morning, at checkout I asked to speak with the manager to resolve the issue. She was in a meeting, so they took my # and said that the manager would call me. It's been 6 days and no call, Overall I'm just not happy with the service, the themed room we had booked also was in rough shape, with paint peeling off the walls and a questionable electrical set up in the kids room. However I am no electrician.

When we arrived for check-in, the gentleman at the front desk informed us they no longer had the room we booked (a 1-bedroom suite, as we were travelling with our toddler), and would instead be putting us in a “standard double queen room.” Upon our insistente, he was finally able to find something more suitable. Our room (253) was clean enough, however the bed was very worn with an extremely large tear in it. The pull-out couch was at least twenty years old and just as worn. The curtains stained from water obviously leaking in through the windows. The hotel, in general, was quite noisy. A highlight for us was the overcrowded breakfast room, serving lukewarm hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage. At checkout, the woman working the front desk was extremely inhospitable. And, to top it off, we were charged MORE for our stay than we were quoted. Overall, the hotel was underwhelming, old, dingy, and noisy! The staff were not friendly. Would not stay again, and would not recommend.

Our main issue with the hotel was that the hallways smelled of smoke even though the hotel area we were in was no smoking. And unfortunately we had a mouse run into the room from the ac unit. I know rodents are something that happens in any area and it didn’t appear as though there was damage from rodents to the room, but the made sleeping difficult. The sofa in the room was also not only uncomfortable (felt like made of stone) it was incredibly dirty. I placed a towel on it to sit on it with my clothes on. I am a regular hotel user and in my career worked as a hotel front desk clerk and general manager and know as hotels get older they need to be refreshed. This hotel could use a refresh. It is a true 3.5 star.

Only one staff member friendly. People smoking within 5ft of the door when it says 9m from the building. Breakfast was good maybe move toast to the end after omelettes so you can order an omelette and put your toast thru while eggs cook. Room had very loud creaking noises from room above that lasted all night and made sleep difficult. When concerns, with recordings of noise for evidence, were brought forward to staff the concerns were not addressed. This experience would dissuade us from returning to this hotel again. The hot tub was also out of service, as was it the last time we stayed here, several years ago.

After three check-in attempts and no clean rooms available we were switched rooms. The room we were checked into was smaller than the room originally booked and we were charged more. Staff was clearly over worked and stressed.

The property is dated. The hallways are a little musty and dated but the rooms were okay. Breakfast isn't that great everything is cold. On a positive note the staff was great.
