Signposting for the hotel is extremely bad, notification of parking allowance extremely bad. They have advised previously that they have no air conditioning to "help the environment" which is absolute rubbish, they're just too cheap to pay for it. Look elsewhere for a good night sleep

Very good and convenient although there is no check in desk and emails regarding check in were in German. Thankfully there was a very kind housekeeper that helped with our check in.

Horrible ! Pas de Clim dans les chambres, en pleins été je vous laisse devinez la chaleur dans l’établissement. Du coup, obligé s’ouvrir la fenêtre, sauf que la chambre donne sur un axe routier principal extrêmement bruyant ! Impossible de dormir. La femme de ménage qui viens dans votre chambre a 8h alors qu’il est indiqué ne pas déranger, et qui vous demande quand vous partez. Sans parler de la salle de sport en dessous qui met la musique à fond …

I stayed in tiny / fairly clean room, facing main very noisy street. Tried to keep window open over night but traffic noise was unbearable I checked in on-line and did not have chance to request different room. No reception at all. The only stuff are cleaning personnel. Would not recommend for families with kids.

Not recommended for a woman on her own or hot day
Online checkin didn't work. Checkin at hotel didn't work. Had to call for assistance. No physical reception or staff on site. Lots of odd people hanging around outside hotel, not recommended for a woman on her own. No coffee, tea or kettle in the room. No parking ticket provided as no receipt given. Room clean and fresh. Disgustingly hot during heat wave and days afterwards too. One small fan provided didn't cool room.

Wir übernachten im MCDreams Hotel wenn wir Familie in Rheydt besuchen und haben uns bis jetzt immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein aber modern eingerichtet und sauber. Nasty surprise at reception about dog
I travelled with dog and chose this hotel because it accepts dogs. Upon arrival the receptionist tells me I should have indicated prior to arrival that I would take a dog along and tells me there are no 'dog rooms' left in the 'basic' category. She proposes to give me a 'business' room, which costs more than EUR 30 more than the one I booked. I refused. She then tells me she found a 'dog room', which I accept at the prebooked price. During the conversation she claimed that it was indicated 'everywhere' that dogs need to be pre-announced. I checked the hotels.com site again and there is no mention of the sort. A stressful and unpleasant arrival. The hotel is new and the room was clean and comfortable.

Was comfortable for an overnight stay, although not quite a double bed and the pillows were really odd shapes and not the best in comfort. Clean room, and convenient location. Good parking availability and the bakery next door did good food and coffee! Pleasantly surprised by the town/city centre that had a very nice German pub/restaurant.

Decent Short Stay
Pretty good place for a short stay, not the greatest of view over a petrol station but that's handy. Downside is no breakfast available there. It is a walkable distance to town centre. Supplying fans was a good thing, no A/C available. They could upgrade a bit with complimentary tea coffee and a kettle.

Monchengladbach is worth a visit.
Monchengladbach is a mainly new town, it was very badly damaged in the war so there are not so many old buildings. It was very hot during our stay so the nearby woods were very welcome.

Good little spot to rest your eyes.
Room was very clean, also quiet small, but sufficient for the occasion of needing a bed to rest. Check in was fast and easy. Interesting concept of using digital door locks that require an access code to be unlocked. I would prefer using my phone or a key card to get into my room. The number pad is inconvenient.

Location is good with free parking space, which is very handy. The hotel is really clean and tidy, lovely hot shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only a bit noisy at night from the traffic outside, so those earplugs provided on the side table are necessary and thoughtful.

Great little hotel
Excellent, helpful staff, this was an ideal, comfortable stay during our recent trip to Dusseldorf, close to the station. Staff were most accommodating, particularly Asteria who helped beforehand as we had to organise a late check-in due to flight timings, and then our flight was cancelled completely until the following day! Comfortable, immaculately clean rooms with everything we needed for the weekend, we would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again if in the area. Thank you.

Good for a stopover
This hotel was well priced and clean with a modern bathroom. It is a 5 minute walk to some restaurants and a Mc Donald's. There is a cheap supermarket right next door where we bought fresh croissants for breakfast. It was perfect for the cheap stopover that we were looking for.

This hotel is actually situated in Rheydt and not in Monchenglagbach. The hotel is near to where my Father was born in December 1938. My Uncle was confirmed in the Church at the bottom of the street. I wanted to stay in Monchengladbach and NOT in Rheydt. The weight lifting part of the gym was above my bedroom and that was very irritating as I could hear the weights lifting. There was no kettle in the room. The staff in Stingers was very rude. JM SISTENICH

We have addressed this issue with the gym operator and the house management to eliminate the noise disturbance. A special sound-absorbing floor has already been laid in the gym and a decibel limit has been set for all loudspeakers. If necessary, further actions are going to be taken. No hassles stay
Can't beat the price. Most hotels in the area are very expensive. I like the after hours check-in available due to the key coded for locks.

Excellent customer orientated design
I liked the following facts - no key to lose just a pin number which can be easily noted for back up. Car parking ticket ready on arrival. WiFi easily available plus I-Pad all ready to use. Ability to simply leave without queueing to leave key.

Really good hotel
The only thing missing was a little fridge, to keep some drinks cold as it was quite warm most of the day.
