"The toilet was not functioning and requested it to be repaired several times but no one came. I had to go to the lobby 5 floors down anytime I needed to use the bathroom.
The room was dirty and old."
"I asked for a quiet room with one bed and was given one in a very quiet corner of this big hotel. It looked recently updated, very clean and comfortable with excellent bedding, towels and amenities in the room.
Fast elevator. Good vending machines and very good restaurants.
Located in close distance of Penn station and walking distance to midtown attractions.
Welcoming and professional staff."
"I enjoyed a pleasant problem-free night at Paramount, as were previous stays. The dimly-lit lobby offers a variety of seating options, including a large with lamps for those who may need a surface for a laptop or writing.
For this trip, enjoyed a beverage from the bar and relaxed in the lobby while listening to a singer/songwriter who covered many pop songs."
"Great location to visit New York. Walking distance to so many things such as central park, Carnegie Hall, theater district. Room was very well maintained, good space. Happy hour with live music was a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay here."
"The location is amazing, right in the middle of Times Square. Staff was very professional and helpful. Room was clean and ready on time. The only thing tnat was inconvenience was the toilet no flushing properly. One evening, our tub was clogged. Maintenance fix both in AM. Toilet was working ok, but does and should be fixed properly... overall this day was very pleasant"
"The hotel was nice and the people were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and it was within minutes of all of the Broadway shows we attended so we were able to walk to everything we needed. The only con would be, every morning, we could hear the housekeeper outside the door going in and out of a storage closet or rooms and the door would slam shut and also she would be talking pretty loud asking people if they needed towels etc.. She was our alarm clock every morning. There was a pretty good size space under the door for whatever reason, maybe that's why we heard her so well but other than that, great hotel and location."
"The room was perfect for what we needed, one night in New York. Great location. Rooms are a bit dated but good size and clean. Air con is very dated and noisy but does the job."
