Very nice gardens. The rooms are quite small. Breakfast is good. Dinner in the Café had less ambiance compared to the dining room.

Great Dog Friendly Manor House Hotel
The hotel is lovely and the staff is great. We stayed with our dog and he was welcome as well. We would definitely come back here again.

A great choice !
Very impressed. Quiet, well appointed property. It is a Castle with a large courtyard. Food is excellent. Location is in a National Park.

Lovely place! I only wish I'd had the time to have dinner in the restaurant, however the breakfast was excellent (I think one of the best I've ever had). Perhaps more info in English so that it's possible to enjoy the Danish/local fare even more? (not everyone might know or appreciate something like fynsk smoked cheese). The toiletries were also very nice. Good shower head and water pressure. Always enjoy having a coffee/tea maker in the room. It was a tiny bit cold and it didn't seem like the heat could be raised, so it was good that I had two duvets for myself. Hope to return someday. Thank-you!

A wonderful experience!
This was our first time visiting this gem! Definitely not our last! A beautiful place in gorgeous surroundings. We took a wonderful walk in the park down to the beach and with a view of the old bridge. Friendly personel. Beautiful, spotless room. Absolutely delicious food. Sitting on the terrace with a coffee or drink watching the sailboats magical.

We'll be back.
Comfortable room with great bathroom. Surroundings are spectacular, from the buildings and the associated park to the grand views of the belt. Food was excellent, we had a three course dinner that were both tasteful and satisfying without making you feel 'stuffed'.

Super dejlig overnatning, dog ærgerligt at der blev larmet til sent (sat scene op) lige uden for mit værelse. Og de fortsatte igen tidlig morgen. Alt andet var super godt, smilende personale, lækker mad både aften og morgen. Behagelig seng. Jeg kommer gerne igen, men vil nok tjekke inden om der skal være slotshave koncert dagen efter...

Smukt slotsophold
Gav min datter på 13 år et ophold i fødselsdagsgave. Skøn oplevelse at dele med hende. Vi gik flere ture rundt i det smukke område. Vi nød blandt andet at se de smukke rådyr. Morgenmaden også helt i top (selvom datteren havde håbet på pandekager)

The grounds were pleasant to walk around - wooded paths, duck pond, Baltic Sea shoreline, garden for restaurant. Very good dinner, very helpful staff. Best available price room was in lower level and very small. Bathroom was updated but room needs updating as well, though clean. We saw newer rooms in adjacent building and would upgrade to this next time.

I have stayed at Hindsgavl several times and am always very happy with my stay. This time, however, there was a very moldy shower that made me give a disappointing 2/5 rating for cleanliness. The mold smelled quite badly.

Beautiful old school charm.
Beautiful and classy place. Great for doing nothing. Old school at its best. The beds are 2 single beds put together and not a real KING size bed and the duvets are very thin and also single. The room might smell a bit of sewer system but it seems to be better after the first day... OK buffet in the mornings too. Beautiful location. Great stay over Christmas or in the summer

Great hotel in incredible setting
We had a stop on a longer drive through Europe and found the hotel to be perfect. It was quiet with amazing rooms and a bed that offered us a great night worth of sleep. The surroundings were incredible and we stopped to look at deer on our way to check-in. We have already booked our next stay!

A nice place to rest
Nice room with pleasant décor. Comfy bed. Shower was a bit weird as was quite small with a curtain. Walls are a bit thin and downstairs room I was in suffered from the noise of stomping feet from the room above. Still overall the stay was satisfactory.

Fantastic location/ambience. It really has that old world charm. Food is good and was made using quality ingredients. Think the prime focus is on food and beverage. A porter for the luggage would be a good idea. Dragging the suitcases on the pebbles was cumbersome. Had requested for laundry services ( Ironing)which was very poorly done. Lacks a decent in-house laundry.

Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings
The hotel is located in beautiful parkland surrounded by meadows and grazing stags & deer - who don't seem to be at all phased by the odd car driving past. The hotel itself is a majestic manor house which looks extremely impressive. I stayed for two nights. The first night, the heating in the room was faulty and they were not able to get it to work again until the following day. Luckily I wasn't too cold - but still a little disappointing. The rooms themselves are a little on the small side, but as I was there for business and didn't camp out in the room, it wasn't an issue and at no time did I feel cramped. I ate in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent - if a bit pricey. If you wnat to eat anywhere else, it's a drive into Fredericia, but since I didn't know where anything was, the easier option was staying in. The facilities are comfortable and the bar was nice and cozy. The staff are very friendly and overall, I had a good stay. The rating does not reflect the heating issue.

Beautiful surroundings...
English country garden meets Canadian lakeside. The surroundings are beautiful, and make a visit here a must. The hotel itself is also a lovely & historic building, with a good feel to it. The food and service were all as expected from a place of this calibre. Very good.

Fantastisk serviceminded personale. Altså virkelig, virkelig godt personale. Dygtige kokke i restauranten. Mega god hovedpude og generelt gode produkter på badeværelset. Det eneste jeg manglede var et drikkeglas på værelset, men det hentede jeg bare i baren. Eneste negative ved opholdet var at der hele natten igennem var lyst tændt i ca 15 vinduer, som lyste ind i mit værelse. Og så var der konstant en summende lyd, som lød maskinagtigt eller lign. Det var ærgerligt, når nu jeg gerne ville hage vinduerne åbne om natten pga varme.

Fantastisk ophold på slottet.
Vi havde 2 nætter på slotter, og alt var helt perfekt. Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Værelset var pænt og rent, ligesom resten af slottet. Parken var smuk og velplejet. Det er klart et besøg værd.
