The staff is competent and kind,easy to walk around to dine or shop. My room was very clean and it was everything I needed for my stay,clean,comfortable bed. Air conditioning.

This is an older hotel with lots of history. The Phone Bar was excellent. The Buenos Dias restaurant was excellent. The staff who seemed to be security were not always friendly. The room was clean and large but bed was too firm. Great location in the Zona Rosa and walkable to many sites.

It looks better from the outside. The rooms are old, they need to be revamped… lots of ants in the toilet… the lift was not working

Very nice, clean, and beautiful hotel! Nice location! Only thing I would point out is there’s no ice machines or microwaves but that’s all. Would still stay here again!

Me gusto que la propiedad esta en una area buena y facil de llegar a muchas atracciones. El hotel muy bonito con su historia pero tienen que arreglar los cuartos necesitan que los actualicen y arreglen los problemas de agua que tienen en los cuartos. cuando uno se bana el piso del bano se inunda por que el agua sale por un desagua que hay en el piso.

A beautifully restored vintage hotel with nice big rooms, soft beds, and all the nearby amenities anyone could ask for. Room service was very prompt, the food was good, the staff was incredibly friendly and the phone bar had some great cocktails. The surrounding area could be a little much for some people but i thought it was great. Literally anything you could need is within a 2 block radius. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Amazing deal from expedia as well

Hotel a un estilo antiguo muy bonito. Los empleados son muy amables y dan un servicio de primera. Los cuartos necesitan que le hagan un update en el cuarto que estábamos primero tuvimos problema en el baño había un liqueo de agua y se inundó. Nos tuvieron que cambiar de cuarto y el que nos dieron era más pequeño

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It feels quite glamorous and has the charm of "Old Mexico". The room was spacious and comfortable, but what really makes this place shine is the top-notch service of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. The staff are helpful and the restaurants in the hotel have great food. Great if you like a more vintage vibe but with modern amenities. My only complaint is we were put in a room with two full beds rather than one queen.

Room given on first day - AC was not working and not able to sleep. I opened window to sleep but there was central AC unit with loud noise . After room changed next day, no major complaint.

Food at the restaurant with the buffet was horrible. I ate there once and ate out the rest of the time. Outside of that it was a very nice quiet place and very well kept.

The lobby and first floor museum are beautiful, but the rooms are dated. The historic furniture is fine, but the lumpy couch and hard mattress are just old. The carpet in the room needs to be updated. The shower head had overwhelming water pressure and air flow that created a gust of wind every time you showered, often resulting in a flood on the bathroom floor. Mold in some parts of the bathroom: behind faucet, corners of floor. To match the lobby, the rooms needed to be updated. Breakfast was underwhelming. We asked for additional pillows and they were equally thin and lumpy. It took an hour to get them, including two calls to the front desk and a trip there in person.

This is a historic property and the common areas are well maintained and immaculately clean. The hotel is a gem and they at least deserve praise for the upkeep of the common areas. The room was a different story. The carpet was worn completely through in areas. The housekeeping was indifferent -- all doors and surrounding moldings were dirty with smudges and fingerprints, the maid would take used glassware away but not replace it, we received coffee service supplies for only 3 of 6 nights of our stay, you had to get ice from room service and it arrived dirty on 2 occasions, and I could go on. But the real kicker was the indifferent treatment form the general hotel staff. Few greetings, little eye contact, few smiles, and a really unfriendly bartender. We were made to feel like interlopers and this is so starkly different from everywhere else we have been in Mexico. It costs nothing and requires little effort to be gracious hosts but that escapes these people.

This is our 5th time staying at Geneve, it’s our absolute favorite hotel because of the Staff, location and the History of this Hotel. No matter how many times we’ve stayed here we are always taken away by the beautiful artifacts, the friendly and Honest staff. During my recent stay, I left my purse on one of the couches in the Lobby and it was returned to me complete. Geneve will always continue to be our first choice when in CDMX. Not to mention the comfortable beds! It’s definitely somewhere you want to go and UNWIND from a extremely busy day in the City. There is no street noise which is a plus! Highly recommend!

In zona Rosa all likes of ethnic restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Easy Uber access to major museums. Felt safe on the street walking. Stayed 4 weeks.
