"I reserved a room with a Venice view, and I'm glad I did. The room was large, with a glass partition between the shower and the bedroom. With the large window beyond, it made the mood quite special. Everything was lovely and clean, but... the mattress was terrible--memory foam so lumpy, it should have been replaced long ago, along with the four pillows that, conversely, were like rocks. I did not sleep well. If the bed had been comfortable, I would have loved everything about this hotel. I had a good dinner in the dining room, and in the morning, a nice, full breakfast. The staff were gracias, and the lobby was lovely. I especially appreciated the shuttle bus (8€) to the airport, making it easy to relax the evening and morning before my flight."
