Best ever room with astounding scenery.
You will never get a better room than this for the views. We felt like we were in the clouds. A small homely kiosk at the end of the road only 100 meters away was serving the best cappuccino of our Italian holiday, owned by a friendly Sicilian lady who also serves a brilliant Bombay Sapphire G and T... A downside was the comfort of the bed which unfortunately had a plastic sheet and was uncomfortable through the night causing sweating and irritation of our skin. (We took it off for the remainder of our stay and this improved things a lot). The town is down a set of 520 steps ( they should have filmed the Exorcist here! And not in America). Taxi back to accommodation costs 15 Euros, if you dont fancy going up the steps!

Perfect stay
We had a room and had a terrace out front which had the most gorgeous views of Castillo de Castelmola, the coastlines on either side of Taormina, and down onto the town itself. It is up from the main part of town, so you need to be willing to taxi, take the hourly bus, or climb/hike lots of stairs to stay here. For us it was well worth it. Carmelo and his son were wonderful hosts and the continental breakfast was good. There is a lovely church and an excellent restaurant just up the block which are both worth a visit. Our accommodations were nice, with a large room and very clean. Again, the views, were spectacular. We will definitely stay their again and recommend it to our friends. We were able to find parking on the street each day.

Amazing host and value for money
The host was AMAZING! Very helpful and accommodating in terms of parking, breakfast and check in check out. 5+ stars for that! The only thing we felt was that the information on the listing didn’t match well because the parking was not on property but actually street parking. The room is basic with no toiletries but definitely comfortable.

Gorgeously situated quaint rooms
Small but efficient and clean rooms with great views at this charming B&B with a lovely gentleman to greet you and show you to parking on street in front. If you're nice.....he may show you up to the rooftop for an even better view!! We were able to walk everywhere-the town is down, and down, and down the many steps just about 5 mins from the property-it only took us about 15 mins. Breakfast downstairs in morning and free wifi-Definitely a great price and value!

Little gem
An amazing b&b up in the hills. Great walk down to the town, but be prepared to pay for a taxi back. Breakfast was a bit basic, but nice. Run by a lovely family.

Very clean hotel

Great stay in Taormina, with stunning views!
We really enjoyed our stay at B&B U Palmentu in Taormina. Gabrielle and his father are welcoming and very gracious and accommadating hosts. The B&B is a little out of the main area of Taormina up in the hills by the castle with stunning views in all directions. Finding the Hotel: We walked from the bus station but recommend you catch the bus to 'Castelmola' for a couple of Euros and ask to be dropped off at the 'Via Madonna Rocca' bus stop. The B&B is 100m up the road from there on Via Madonna Rocca. Great stay in Taormina, recommended!

Wonderful panoramic view
We easily found street parking. It is a dead end street with a circle at the end to turn around in. There is only one restaurant nearby and we got a very good pizza there for dinner and ate it in our room, watching the sun set over Etna with a bottle of fine local wine. Each morning we walked down the mountain. There are 2 stairs, one scenic and fairly free of road crossings and the other more citified. I found recycling bins half-way down on the scenic path, so we brought our bottles with us to recycle. We visited Isla Bella, the Greek ruins, ate arancini and lots of granitas, usually lunching in town and having a light lunch with the beautiful view from the hotel. If you go outside the walls near the main bus station, there are some reasonable restaurants where the locals eat that serve what they call a "tourist menu". I negotiated grouper instead of the standard sword fish that is so pupular in Sicily. The last night we are at the aforementioned restaurant, shared an apetizer and shared a pasta. We each orderer a secondi. I had a wonderful fish. It was a really great meal.

The place was a short walk down to town with connecting bus services to centro, the train station and beach. The hosts were very nice and picked us up from the station and rooms were traditional with views overlooking the sea and Mt Etna

Incredible views
Although difficult to locate, B & B U Palmentu offered us a spectacular view of the northeast coast of Sicily. It was a good hike down to Taormina and more difficult to make the return climb. Breakfast was fair with only packaged pastries. However, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the terrace.

- Views from outside the place are amazing. The rest is a disaster. When i arrived i noticed on the wall a paper that said that i could not pay by Credit card as Machine has been broken for 1 week. - Breakefast was a total disaster. The worst bfast i ever had in a hotel. We were offered just coffee, prepacked brioch you find in all supermarkets and artifical orange juice (powder +water). On the website you are promised home made cakes and fresh fruit smoothees. yeah right. - - we were unable to open the wooden exterior part of the window as funnily enough, the balcony was higher then the window therfore could not be opened . (on website u are promised a terrace with a view) yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. B&B is quite far from the centre so u still need to get there by car.

AL PRINCIPIO IMPRESIONA COMO MUY LEJOS DEL CENTRO HISTORICO. UNA VEZ FAMILIARIZADO CON LA GEOGRAFIA DEL LUGAR, TODO ES MUY AMABLE. HAY BUS QUE PASA A 1 CUADRA. EK HOTEL ES UNA CONSTRUCCION DEL AÑO 800 (SI, DE VERDAD) REMODELADA HACE 10 AÑOS A UNOS PASOS DE LA MADONNA DE LA RICA. EL DUEÑO Y SU HIJO SUPER AMABLES.

Notre séjour c'est bien passé à cet établissement. la chambre très confortable, mais tres petit balcon avec vu sur la montagne. nous avions réservé une chambre vue mer mais nous avons plutôt eu vue montagne avec une vue partielle au loin de la mer. j'ai demandé au propriétaire de changer de chambre pour vue complète de la mer, mais aucune disponibilité et il m'a dit que j'avais quand même une vue sur la mer. l'hôtel est très haut en montagne, une belle vue de la terrasse sur la ville, mais pas facile d'accès et difficile de stationner surtout en pente. Pour aller en ville il faut d'essendre des escaliers d'une durée d'au moins 30 min. donc nous sommes revenues en taxi car je n'aurais pas remonter le soir.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, ein Zustellbett hätte sicher nicht rein gepasst. Der Balkon war lediglich ein Austritt, zu klein, um einen Stuhl raus zu stellen. Die Aussicht bescheiden. Eine Duschwanne war nicht vorhanden, nur ein Duschkopf an der Wand zwischen Waschbecken und Toilette. Was bedeutet, dass nach dem Duschen das kleine Bad völlig verspritzt ist. Das Frühstück wurde in einem Kellerraum serviert (ehemalige Weinpresse) und bestand vorwiegend aus abgepackten Angeboten. Immerhin gab es auf Nachfrage guten Cappucino. Der Umgang war sehr unfreundlich. Die Ehefrau oder Haushaltshilfe, die wir beim Bügeln antrafen und die ausreichend gutes Deutsch sprach, verweigerte das Gespräch über einen möglichen Zimmerwechsel. Zitat: "Wenn sie mit mir sprechen, sprechen sie mit niemand" Der Vermieter (ob Chef oder Ehemann) war bereits wieder verschwunden und unansprechbar.

Hermosa estadía en Taormina!!
El Lugar es muy bonito, la atención es excelente y el desayuno muy completo. Taormina es una villa hermosa y un destino muy recomendable, hay que considerar que todo es en camino de montaña !!.. En nuestro caso que no teníamos auto, el B&B nos quedó lejos del centro de la ciudad y de la playa, por lo que nos movimos caminando y en taxi.

El lugar esta limpio y la habitacion muy buena con vista al mar!!, el inconvenie te es que está muy arriba y lejos de la ciudad, hay una escalera que en unos 15 min. Llegas, el problema es la vuelta y los colectivos cortan a las 9 ys. Aprox. Por lo cual hay que volver caminando si o si.... No volveria por esta razon. El hotel bien

Hyggeligt bed and breakfast med formidabel udsigt og dejlig ro. I gå afstand fra centrum, et pænt stykke fra stranden. Søde og hjælpsomme værter, som taler sparsomt engelsk. Morgenmaden bestod primært af langtidsholbare kager, dog også toast og frisk frugt, hvilket løftede det en smule. Alt i alt hyggeligt, rent og med god beliggenhed.

Świetny B&B z przemiłymi gospodarzami
Pobyt w B&B u Palmentu był wspaniały. Pokoje są bardzo czyste ( ręczniki wymieniane codziennie) a widoki niesamowite. Gospodarze ( Gabriele i Carmello) są przemili i bardzo pomocni. Umiejscowienie B&B pozwala na dogodne zwiedzanie całej okolicy Taorminy. Na pewno tam wrócimy!

L'accoglienza è stata ottima, i proprietari sono stati gentili e disponibili. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. L'unica pecca è che il B&B si trova lontano dal centro di Taormina: di giorno, se si cammina a piedi, si può prendere la scalinata della Via Crucis o l'autobus, ma la sera l'unico mezzo per poter scendere in centro è la macchina, perchè il servizio autobus dopo le 20 si ferma e la scalinata di sera non è sicura.

Struttura accogliente, personale gentilissimo a disposizione per qualsiasi evenienza. Un po' fuori dal centro ma facilmente raggiungibile grazie ad una fermata autobus a pochi passi dalla struttura oppure tramite una scalinata che collega direttamente la zona in cui si trova il b&b con il centro citta'.

Petit B&B familial et très sympa
Très bien dans l'ensemble, accueil très sympathique, juste un peu loin du centre de Taormine, mais il y a la possibilité d'y descendre à pied par un long escalier - très pratique pour ne pas avoir à se garer en ville, vu les conditions de stationnement ! Si l'on séjourne de nouveau à Taormine, il est probable qu'on y retourne !

Tolle Lage oberhalb von Taormina mit tollem Ausblick auf die Stadt und das Meer sowie auf die Berge, auch auf den Ätna . Fußweg über 540!! Treppen in das Zentrum von Taormina (15 Minuten talwärts, 20-25 Minuten bergwärts) kostenloser Parkplatz an der Strasse vor dem Hotel. Familiär geführt, schöne Terasse

Fantastisk plass! Ekte Sicilia!
Vi var svært fornøyde med oppholdet tross språkvansker. De kunne ikke engelsk, men vi forstod mye med hjelp av kroppsspråk og blanding av andre språk. Eierne var veldig åpne, gjestfrie og serviceinnstilte. Rommet var stort og lyst med en utsikt ut over hele byen. Vi hadde en koselig liten balkong og stor felles takterasse der vi flere kvelder nøt en romantisk middag. Satte pris på at en ikke bodde i de travle turistgatene, men heller bodde mer som Sicilienerne. Frokosten var ikke stor og det var mye søte ting, men dette opplevde vi overalt vi var i Sicilia. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake og anbefaler på det sterkeste! Vi var så fornøyd at vi valgte å bo her 4 netter ekstra, det sier mye...

A very nice hotel, fantastic view to the sea, mountains and landscape, nice rooms, kind stuff, which made our stay memorabel. We will definitely come back, even if they not served wine or food at the hotel (except from breakfast).
