Hi Peter and Libby - thanks for your review and glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Dovecote Cottage. There is a sink in the upstairs bathroom, but as noted in the listing and also the confirmation, there isn't a sink downstairs. It's not an option to provide a downstairs sink without major rework, which would markedly increase the price. We'd encourage you to consider staying in one of our other cottages, which both have full kitchens, if a sink outside of the bathroom is important to you.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our small suite due to your special needs. Unfortunately as we explained beforehand there are no facilities on the Wotif website to show that it is a two storey cottage. Immediately after booking we sent you a message that specifically mentioned that the cottage was small and did have an upstairs and downstairs. We later spoke on the phone and confirmed this a few days before your check-in and offered a refund if we were able to re-book the cottage but you declined to cancel. We feel we have done everything possible to ensure you were well informed and are at a loss as to what else we could do. We hope you will return to the Dandenongs again and perhaps book our larger cottage which is all on the one level. Regards, Chris

Yes, as advertised it is just a small cottage without a kitchen or dining table, however as most guests are only eating a continental breakfast then the supplied breakfast trays or coffee table usually suffice. Weather permitting there are a number of gorgeous outdoor seating/dining options to enjoy.
