Very good location. Property is a little old. The hotel is supposedly a 5 star, but it is more a 3 stars. Room are renovated but you can feel lack of quality. However, staff was excellent!!

I like the friendliness, the aimability, the service and the appreciation of and the interest for the guest. I didn't like traffic situation, too much congestion because of the multitude of vehicles using the roads nearby the hotel. The noise in the room was at night so loud that I couldn't get a good sleep.

We stayed at GHL Porton Medellin and we had a great experience. We were happy staying at this hotel during a seven days trip to Medellin. The location was perfect in the Poblado area and across the Santa Fe mall. They offer a free breakfast which was very good with a lots of options for eating. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and very attent to our needs. Jorge, the gentlemen at the restaurant, was very pleasant and professional. Also, Flor was very polite and helpful with our selections at breakfast. Many thanks to both of them. The staff at the lobby was welcoming and friendly. They made us feel at home. Luis and Jorge, at the lobby, were very helpful with our tours and directions. They were always willing to help. The Hotel exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and well located. It was very clean, nice room, and the service was excellent. Thank you to you all for a wonderful stay! I will definitely stay here again.

Best Value 4 Stars in Medellin
GHL Porton continues to be the best value -4 Stars hotel- for the money in Medellin. The location of the hotel is excellent, the area is safe and it's a good hotel for family trips. The hotel is next to 2 of the nicest shopping malls (SantaFe y Oviedo). Also, the brunch is plenty of fresh fruit, pastries and eggs made to order. The hotel is clean, staff is nice, parking and brunch are free, and the price per night is very competitive.

Great shower but the floor isn’t sloped so the water goes everywhere including on your once dry towels. Forget the idea of paying for an extra guest each night, that policy is just stupid and the reason i cannot return. Also, i was in a bad accident, and could barely walk so a friend helped me get to my room and then i gave ger a birthday gift. She was there approximately 15 minutes and they tried to charge me an extra 150mil pesos even though i prepaid for 2 people in the room. Ridiculous

Very nice experience, the mall is just two blocks away. The breakfast is really yummy and the are lots of options to eat. The stuff is lovable.
