During the weekdays, the restaurant closes at 10AM after breakfast (including room service). If you want a cup of coffee (not the espresso pods from guestroom) between the hours of M-F (10-4PM) - you have to walk to the Wegmans grocery store down the road. Coffee should be available all day.

Great hotel convenient to the McLean Metro station. Only con is they limit the in room thermostat to a minimum of 70°. I find that strange… like really… charge me an extra $2 for the power bill if it’s really that big of a deal

We had a great stay. It is a stylish hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. The room was quiet, and the blackout curtains were effective. I wish the restaurant/bar was open until midnight on Saturday night. There weren’t many other options for a drink with a friend after we returned from the theater. I also was surprised the front desk couldn’t give (or sell) us toothpaste when we realized we forgot to bring it. We would stay at this hotel again.

Good place to stay, if the staff can be more friendly. I typically don’t write negative reviews. But this one is exceptionally bad. At check in desk, the computer at clerk handling mine had a problem. She worked on it for 10 minutes and couldn’t fix it. She asked her colleague at the adjacent desk to help process mine. She refused and asked me to wait for her to call their manager to fix the problem. Their manager came and still couldn’t fix the problematic computer. My room was already paid on Expedia. They only needed to process my credit card for deposit. I asked them to give me a room first. They refused. At the end I waited for about 40 minutes to get the key to my room. Very inconsiderate!!

Everything about the Archer Hotel is superb…the location, the service, the atmosphere, the modern clean line style, the staff, the cleanliness, the valet, the bar, the food…OMG just stop in for the food and the bar! It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Beautiful hotel. Everything was very nice. Only complaints are the temperature control stays lit up all night and the light blocking curtains let light in at the edges. If you like a really dark room when sleeping, this be annoying.
Also, when ac or heat turns on, fan is very loud.
Great staff, great food, very clean and nice rooms.

Hotel was very updated, beautiful, modern facilities, very clean. Staff was courteous, helpful and attentive. I had requested a specific accommodation and they honored it without my having to ask twice. My only issue is having to valet my car while staying there, as there does not appear to be public parking anywhere near the hotel. There is an additional daily charge for the valet, and during busy times when the hotel bar had many patrons, it took a bit longer to get my car. This wasnt the valet's fault - they were super gracious and working hard to get everyone's cars; it was just too busy at that time. But I would definitely stay here again.

All staff members were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is stunning and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
