Interior of Building is not the best. Paint peeling off room doors, rooms smell/ feel musty. Possibly old & overused carpeting. Aside from that, staff is great!
There were guest that arrived on February 18 at 1am and were very loud knocking on there doors and running up and down the hallway so it was very noisy till about 3 am
other then the fact the hotel was convenient to our reason for being in McAllen, the hotel needed some serious upgrades. Entry keypad and keys were awful, had my entry cards recalibrated at least 7 times during our two night stay. The faucet to shower/ tub did not work properly could not get hot water.
Everything is old and in bad conditions. Carpet feels dirty, smells bad, tv is from 20 years ago, remote doesn’t work, bathroom is in bad conditions, shower is the worst part, the floor looks like never been cleaned.
There was a loud party on Saturday night until around 3 am and the staff did not answer the front office phone. It was very inconvenient and awful. Could
Not sleep. There were cockroaches in the bath tub and bathroom. Walls are falling apart from water damage. Cleaning crew took shower curtain away and didn’t replace. Overall a bad experience.
Overall bad experience. No one at front desk to check in. No extra towels. No answer at front desk when someone in one of the rooms across from us was screaming like she was being beat up. Called multiple times and front desk would answer and hang up. Cops ended up coming. All in the middle of the night with no help from hotel staff. Also old and has a smell.
We were pressed for time in looking for two rooms to stay. We went online and booked two rooms at this location at around 5pm. The check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms were clean with plenty of space.
Very nice hotel.
Good breakfast. Better than the last Quinta we stayed at. Cockroaches found in bathroom and bedroom. No ice available but other than that, we got what we paid for.
Right off the highway on the south side of Mission just a couple of miles from McAllen, this hotel offers convenient access to both towns. Clean and well kept.
In the 1st room the shower didn't work. Once they did change our room, it felt out of date. Some of the light switches were broken, the tv was broken still worked but there was a line down the middle, the tv remote didnt work either. My advice to the owners , spend some money on remodeling and updating the botel
