"Location. Location. Location. So close to shopping and restaurants. Very safe walk. Lots of families walking out after dark. Beautiful resort - maybe not all the frills of some larger resorts - but super clean, friendly and lots of sun, sand and ocean. Pools are superb and dining at the seaside restaurant was outstanding. (Well worth the line up in the mornings to make reservations which you must do) we had an absolutely outstanding stay at Buenaventura !! "

"Insane attention to detail in terms of cleanliness & service. Mostly americans & canadian visitors, service-facing staff all speak english well. absolutely amazing vistas, very impressive lobby. you will destress immediately upon entering. you will want for nothing here. avoid the people selling you trinkets on the beach, but do NOT skip the on-beach massage it is insane value. 10/10 will be returning as many times as i'm able."

"The resort is gorgeous and the service was excellent. We stayed 5 nights and were a party of 5 adults with 3 rooms. We ended our 3 week vacation here after traveling through Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara and Mascota. We had a very relaxing beautiful time. My only are of suggestion for improvement is upon check in we were not given a tour of the facilities and we were never informed that there were activities like meditation in the morning or exercise class. We were unaware of entertainment in the evening options at our hotel or the other hotels. We learned of this on our last night! Please inform guests of the various activities and options. "
