Overall it was a great stay specially the hotel customer service. I like the hotel building external classic spanish style architecture and the swimming pool general picturesque looks/design.. There are some minor flaws most likely because this is old building. Like there is not enough power outlet plugs -- the coffee pot I have to plug in the outlet in the washroom sink, hard to close the shower door handle from the inside of the shower stall you could close it when your outside the stall but if you are inside taking a shower, it's impossible to do so

The hotel was quite affordable. The room was clean and the staff was all super nice! The room has its own refrigerator. Just a bit sad that they no longer own the building beside it.

The hotel’s location is near rizal memorial however the hotel seems to be short staffed. There was no room make up and it took a while to get some room service or none at all.

The reception staff and porter on arrival were excellent. Dining room staff, likewise, were excellent. Thr room was was clean and the bed comfortable. A few fittings are showing their age and a general tidy up will help improve the quality.

The lobby is small but fine. It is a bit presentable than the room I stayed in. Front desk guy was welcoming when I checked in late night from the airport. There was a helpful guard and another guy staff that assisted me. In the morning, a young lady from front desk was not welcoming. I was even the one who greeted her first, she seemed still tired or not ready for the day. Security guards were attentive. It is small hotel, an old house turned into hotel. The room is very old. The paint is old. There is an old tv, old telephone, old tiny fridge. The bed is old. The bed sheets and pillow cases old. Old, dark, even the smell. Nothing exciting. Everything old. Old blinds. Slum area view from outside. Broken window. Restaurant was not available when I checked in. It opens in the morning and closes afternoon. if you are coming late no food for you. I starved the entire night. I tried to search for online food delivery which was also terrible. I ordered the next day. It was okay yet a bit pricey for the serving. was introduced to be good for two but not. The picture shown on post is deceiving. My experience.. not so exciting..although I was able to get through the nights waiting for my COVID 19 test result.

Petite déception cet Orchid garden. Durant cette crise du covid, nous l'avons choisi parce que l'hotel était accrédité par l'Office du Tourisme. Notre chambre 'superior' est grande et au calme, c'est bien. Mais à notre arrivée, la propreté laisse a désirer : un peu de poussière, trace de gecko (merde) sur les draps de lits. De plus, pas d'articles de toilette, pas de bouteilles d'eau. Une bouilloire et des tasses sont prévues mais pas de café, ni thé. La climatisation est vraiment bruyante. Choix très basique de chaînes sur la télévision. Positif, la wifi est excellente, très bien. La salle de bains est minuscule, impossible de l'utiliser à 2 personnes en même temps. Positif, l'eau de la douche est bien chaude. Autre problème, le coin business dans le lobby est fermé et nous laissons imprimer par la reception 4 feuilles en N/B depuis un PDF. Prix demandé 220 pesos, un vrai hold-up!!!! Une honte. La piscine est vide, peut-être a cause du covid. Bref, expérience assez mitigée qui implique que je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

The location is perfect since it was very near to all the offices that I have a transaction with. The house keeping staffs are friendly, front desk staffs are accommodating. The hotel is clean. Just some issue with the television channels. I was transferred to a room with a weak signal. But overall experience, commendable.

Stayed here for 5 nights, overall very satisfying ... good and friendly staff, get early check in as well, we didn't had breakfast in our room rate, but from earlier stays here, it's good and over average. They only thing is that there is only one lift, they have already installed a new one, and i think one more is coming. The wifi is among the strongest, i have experience in hotel's in Manila, I will definitely stay here again, next time i'm in Manila, and the rate's are within my budget.

The hotel being of age very nice deseign . Has bar on property love sitting out side to chat and enjoy drinks . Staff was so helpful if i had questions . Hotel is located very conveient location to shopping grocery all needs were taken care of.

Efficient and Effective Staff
Staff from the guards to the receptionist to the concierge are very accommodating and service oriented. Our stay was made comfortable as possible... a place to consider in the future.

I arrived about three hours earlier than the check-in time, but since my room was already available I was allowed to have an early check-in with no extra charges. My room was on the sixth floor and had a great panoramic view of the surrounding area. The room was clean with complimentary bottled waters, dental stuff, slippers, and clean beddings. It was just perfect for my taste. However, I woke up early morning about 3am to a blaring music with cacophonous sounds coming from people. At first I thought it was from the neighborhood. I tried to ignore the sound, but after an hour and my sleep was already affected I called up the operator and complained to them about the sounds and how. It turned out that some hotel guests were in the veranda in the wee hours having the time of their lives and making sounds oblivious of the other occupants of the hotel. I think there should be a policy about the use of the hotel facilities in the wee hours.

No Internet
Don't stay here if you need an internet connection as I've been here over a week & internet is useless on our floor, doesn't work in restaurant and occasionally in the lobby. Complained all the time but nothing happens. Noisy with plenty of young kids staying here - banging doors & yelling all the time, Never again!!

Upgraded my room to the 11th floor. Nice amenities. Wifi speed in the lobby is good. Wifi on the 11th floor is very poor, almost useless. Staff is friendly, helpful. Business center is useful, convenient. Breakfast buffet is satisfactory, could be much better. Overall, I wouldn’t mind checking in again in the future.
