I basically didnt like everything about this place, the rooms, the beddings, the bathroom and sink which are both clogged,, the yucky sheets and towels, no trash cans and electric kettles inside the rooms, the defective lightings, the dilapidated and dirty elecavators, the swiming pool area that needs repair and the corridors that smells bad.So instead of comfort and rest, it was a terribly uneasy and sleepless night for me.To be honest, the place needs total cleaning and makeover.

Overall, the building is quite old. Room service is slow and the building is starting to show it’s wear and tear. The hotel does not allow any alcohol in the room which is quite disappointing. We asked for toilet paper and we were told we need to wait until the next day. We went to 711 to buy our own toilet paper. No air conditioning in the lobby, Elevetor or hallways as it was broken. Door knob on the 11 floor emergency stairwell broken. Lack of hot water in the suite and cracks in the ceiling. The only positive part was the staff at the front desk which was very polite and energetic. It’s not their fault that management neglected keeping this building looking good. Neglected maintenance of the building.

Maltreated an 82 years old Hotel Guest
Emilia Cruz (Front Desk) gave my mother a very poor customer service. My mother who is 82 years was maltreated in this hotel. Don't book on this hotel...VERY!!! VERY POOR SERVICE!!!!

Stay away and never return to Imperial
This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the Philippines. The rooms were nicely remodeled but there will subtle things overlooked by the staff. 1. The pillows will filthy. If you peel back the dingy old pillow covers, you’ll find a dirty old pillow with thousands of other peoples saliva. This pillow should of been thrown away and replaced years ago. They should at least put a pillow liner. 2. The beds sheets are old and dingy white. These are high mileage and needs to be thrown away. I didn’t feel comfortable slipping in between the old sheets so I only slept on top of the newer cleaner looking comforter. 3. The daily maid service needs to go re-taught. They picked up my wet dirty towels off the ground, folded them and put it back on the rack. Where’s my new towels? They would take the 1/2 roll of toilet paper off the rack and replaced it with nothing. The bottled water was replaced on the first and last days only. 4. The WiFi process was stupid. They would give you these daily 24hr logins/password papers. Why not set it up for more the 24hrs? 5. The sofa had cigarette burn holes but my room was non-smoking. When you sit on it or touch it, dust would fly in every direction. The smell, was horrific. I wouldn’t even place my shoes on them.

I like the location of the place, a lot of place to eat. My family and I were very displeased of the hotel's facility. First thing I usually check when I check in the hotel is the bed. The sheets were all worn out and I could tell were not changed at all. I found a lot of hair, strands of hair. The towels were ripped and very old. The toilet seat and lid were broken. The shower door was broken and wasn't able to completely close.

There is a charge of 1000p if you drink beer in your room????? That’s a new one to me. No other hotel in the world that I have stayed in has this charge. They don’t even have a restaurant and the bar at the pool area is dilapidated & closed so where else could you have a drink except in your room. I find this stupid.

Not so good service.
There is no elderly rate provided to senior person and no breakfast provided. In the booking it mentioned that breakfast is included. No restaurant is the hotel other than Starbucks. Bottle water not provided in room until we asked for several time. Also no wifi in the room but mentioned wifi provided in the booking.

I've booked three times in the last four weeks and there was always something wrong with the room. TV image was purple, cable reception poor. During the most recent of stays the aircon was shutting down every 15 minutes due to a faulty timer. Had to settle for a cramped room (at midnight) that had a working aircon, Frequent response to your complaints and suggestions: "It's not possible" or "It's not allowed." First time I have been in a hotel that rations out wifi access. Maximum of two wifi coupons per day! One coupon per gadget. Get your coupons daily at the front desk!

Big room but smelly and old, staff should be trained. When you call the landline most of the time they don't answer. No refill of bottled water for the duration of our stay. Not recommending this hotel

Not coming back
i booked for family room and gave me one bed room. The reception insisted that the booked room was for one bed only. But i managed to show the email from hotels.com that it was for 2 queen beds. So i was transfered. But the pillows smell really bad, no kettle, no coffee, no soap, and we were sweating in the room. We checked in 4am and 11.30 am they were calling for check out. I waited 30mins in the lobby for my clearance. All in all, the experience was very bad.

I hope that the issues mentioned here (especially about sweating in the room - was the aircon not working? you dint mention it) However, please do understand that check out time is strictly at 12NN, though with what happened, the staff could have exercised a little lenience for the inconvenience. thank you.

Not worth the price it charges
The only thing good i can say is its location and its big rooms. Other than that, it seriously needs improvement overall. Check in was OK although the security key card was late sent to us and the papers to fill up where also signed on the room not on the lobby. The room is big. Comfort room is OK except for the water takes too long to get warm/hot. Bath towel is unacceptable because its too old to be used by customers, it even has stain marks. AC is cold and view from veranda is good. Rooftop pool does not have attendant and they don't provide separate towels, we have to bring our own or the room towels. The view from the rooftop is good though overlooking tomas morato area. There is no breakfast included, i take it that they have great service and amenities for the same price range with the others that have even buffet breakfast, but no, its disappointing.

They’re not considerate to guests’ personal needs
The location is ok. They don’t give grace period even just an hour due to emergency. I plead to give me just an hour because I’m waiting for my cousin but they’re not being considerate. I am so dissappointed because I thought i can get an hour grace period due to being a loyal guest with them every time I visit Phils but no consideration was given to me despite my plea. Going forward, I will not stay with them anymore. Wifi is worst.

It is sad to see a once bustling and nice hotel become degraded. The pool area is deserted and in a sad state compared to like 8 years ago. But the staff are nice and accomodating. I hope that an investor will come in and inject life again to this hotel.

not a nice place at all
picked this hotel because I stayed there before some years back and it was great then, however now its terrible no waste paper bins no kettle the towels are 20 years old, asked for an iron 4 times and still did not get it, they don't do breakfasts anymore, the pool area looks like an abandoned warehouse with the bar broken and the ceiling is falling down, and the the list goes on. it appears to us its a rent by the hour hotel in a red light district.. we checked out 4 days earlier and forfeited the money we paid and went to another hotel. how on earth this hotel got a 3 star rating we do not know. our complaints at the desk fell on deaf ears

Nice hotel in the heart of Scout Circle Area
Chose the location primarily based on its proximity to food places in my bucketlist in my trip back home to the PH. The place didn’t disappoint when it came to that aspect of my stay. It can do better when it comes to making sure that the water pressure is good, hot water in the shower is available, and basic amenities are provided. Other than that, the night duty staff were great and very accommodating and they were the saving glory of the place.

Thought it is one of the best place to stay around Timog area, but I guess I was wrong! Stayed there for 17 days and I can't do anything about it! Isn't it a policy of every hotel to at least give complimentary water everyday, which only cost 10 cents at 7/11? Complimentary soap and sometimes, toothbrush everyday? Very disappointed with this, as if it is a favor everytime you ask for it. The bed is uncomfortable, a king bed, hard all over. Location is the only wonderful about Imperial suites, and mixed feelings because the restroom is very nice, compared to the old, flimsy towels they provide everyday. Is this hotel going out of business or what?
