Nice place overall but…
Last two days of our winter vacation. Nice room, comfy bed. Shower leaks water under the shower door at a ridiculous rate.- looks like the shower head needs to be at the other side of the shower stall so the glass wall that is permanent and sealed is closest to the water flow. Or maybe someone out the glass door/wall on backwards. Convenient location to Mulligans for dinner which was awesome!

Last minute
Last minute reservation and turned out to be a welcome haven. It was a nice room with a comfortable bed and no hotel smell of cleaning products. It was easy to park and access lobby and easy check-in. We have stayed at other Kimptons and they are a great group.

Quaint stay in Manchester
Anniversary night with the wife. Looked good from the photographs. Booked it. Well kept hotel with nice restaurant and convenient to downtown. No spa, silver members take note, because the $30 credit is moot.

Great Vermont getaway
Lovely property. All the Kimpton friendliness and service for both us and our dogs. The rooms are furnished beautifully and the property well maintained. Great hotel for a visit to Manchester or Dorset, VT.

This has always been our favorite place to stay. The hotel is getting a little tired and the common areas are not kept as clean as they used to be. The pool towels were also small and super thin. It is unfortunate as this hotel is in a great location and could be fabulous with a little more attention paid to the common areas of the hotel.

Air conditioning fan very noisy and air freezing so had to turn it off then room gets stuffy phone system awful could not make cell calls but could only send messages

Summer Getaway
Exceptional. We are fans of Kimpton and we loved this property in particular. Pet friendly, nicely appointed comfortable rooms, great coffee, beautiful common areas including the front and back verandas, fire pit, grassy area, and landscaping. The food was disappointing however. We had dinner twice in the Copper Grouse and found everything bland. The food was beautifully presented but the steak and burger had no flavor, the eggplant dip had no flavor, the salmon rik kettle had no flavor and while it was a beautiful mix of fresh vegetables, the salad dressing had no flavor. The exception we’re the excellent breakfast sandwich and pancakes which were scrumptious. But we will return to the hotel but look for other dining options. The cocktails were great. We weren’t too impressed with the format of the wine reception so we didn’t partake in that amenity.

Very quiet time of year. Honestly our check in at reception was friendly and easy but appearance not sharp. Wish hotels had a shirt or blazer with logo. Didn’t feel like there was a lot of extra effort from front desk the whole time. Room lovely, super clean and comfortable.
