The property theme was perfect for relaxing but the issue is some cabinets were broken and lose 3 lights were burnet , the electricity went off 2 times which is really not pretty for what i paid. Told the receptionist and didn’t feel that they were willing to offer something back.

I stayed in the "luxury garden view room", i was disappointed for several reasons: 1- The furniture in the room is a 3 star hotel furniture. Although the furniture of hotel lobby is 5 star. 2- The bed was in the middle of the room. They built closets behind the bed. And no electricity socket near the bed to charge your phone. 3- A round table and 2 chairs were between the bed and the way to the toilet and closet. I had to move the chairs to have more space in the room 4-The sink mixer handle broke and draining the water takes time. I dont know if they check the room regularly after every guest. My parents stayed in a "premium suite".It had alot of furniture pieces, It would have been better if they would have a mini kitchen. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean. Since it's a resort, the villas are desingned in a nice way, walking from the villa to the restaurant to the lobby is nice. The breakfast buffet was perfect. The value for money I give it a 5/10.

Make sure to check the room before check in. I had problems with the front door does not luck properly (major security issue), jacuzzi does not work, check-in takes long time, and staff is not fast to respond back

The property was old and when we checked in the parking was limited and the room was dirty, some dirty napkins under the bed and the sheets were burnt in one corner. The backyard was not sweeped and full of dry leafs. The shower and jacuzzi’s water had a very bad smell and we were not able to take a shower the next day. The couch had stains all over it and it looked so old and dirty. The sunbeds outside are all dirty and disgusting. Mostly has some bird sh*t on them. I’m glad we only booked one night because it was an awful experience. Not recommended at all.

Not quite 5* Poor points, very quiet so some facilities closed (spa's, some restaurants). Minor issues with room (no hairdryer, ironing board, leaking tap) all resolved quickly but I would expect 5* to spot these things first. There is still some construction going on on the island (November 2022) which affects the views but otherwise no intrusions. Good points, the food in the open restaurants (shisha and pool side) very good. There's a great infinity pool with a man-made beach plus a small pool for younger guests. Plenty of seating all round. The garden and grounds are spacious, well maintained and spectacular when lit at night (as are the outside tables for the restaurants). Room was large and clean with outside seating area (hint, don't leave the keycard in the slot by the door or the lights can come on at random during the night!). Serviced every day. Great location, around 20 minute to airport (no aircraft noise), short taxi ride to mosque, museum, WTC, Souq, malls etc. Less than 15 minute walk to (a few) water side restaurants and convenience store. Similar short walk to the Reef Clubhouse which guests have access to. Big sea water lagoon with food and drink outlets, floating restaurant and tents (!) By far the best aspect is the staff. From the porters, to receptionists, serving staff, grounds people, life-guard....all friendly, always smiling, and keen to please (I didn't see any rudeness as claimed on other reviews. Smile at the staff and you get 100 smiles back).

So many things r not working! The spa and kids club r out of service. Breakfast is a 3 star motel quality. Bathroon plumbing had a problem and there would be so much noice everytime we flush the toilet! I tried to get a drink at the pool and add it to my bill I was told I had to pay immedialy and I did not have my wallet on me. The rooms interior is so ugly! Like a fortune was spent on exterior and landscape but the rooms were of horrible taste.

Although the location is isolated but this is what we expected because it’s a resort (or at least this is what we thought). Swimming pool open at weekend only (nothing mentioned while booking) One restaurant operates only (they mentioned six restaurants in Expedia site) Extremely bad room decoration (my point of view) No privacy at all, while you are setting on the terrace/porch of your room, suddenly someone passes by. Beach is far, the beach has no life at all (it’s artificial beach). We paid for services not provided/received. By the way our booking is “superior” room, they told us this is the lowest category. Thanks for Mr. Khalil AlYaman for his understanding and assistant, I think the staff is one of the best things (beside the greenery) in the resort

Service at breakfast was excellent. Room was nice except no privacy as room is on the walk way so we had to put all blinds down which means there is no natural light and it is very dark. Luckily this trip we didn’t spend much time in our room otherwise we would have had to move. Service at reception was slow, one person to check in three groups, took half hour. The pool side service was extremely slow, inconsistent and mistakes were made, for example 40mins for one cocktail to arrive after asking several times, only 7 light beers left until staff went to purchase more, burger says it comes with avocado and it doesn’t, sauce with one wrap and not with the other despite it being included on description. All of this when the resort is not busy. Pretty disappointing as we have stayed before and had good service. If this was our first time we would not go back.
