This is a good hotel which I would recommend anyone to stay in. The manager; Deep, and his staff were very friendly and engaged with their hotel customers (if things were raised or needed, they worked quickly to address) . The food at the restaurant was very good and I recommend persons selecting this as an option when they book. The only thing I would helpfully encourage this hotel to undertake is a maintenance and repairs project of its bathrooms, fridges, and the beautiful wood fascias adorning the restaurant, lobby and bedrooms. The near circular view as you look down from the balconies to the foyer is very good (much like the very beautiful Best Western rectanglular setup in Muscat when I stayed there in September). Overall though it's still 4 out of 5 rating and combined with its Juffair location a good location in which to stay. Handy tip; Room 501 had a great window view of the main thoroughfare road into Juffair although the rooms are not soundproof you genuinely can get a great nights sleep... I did for my entire 8days there

Entertainment in Buffalo's bar and grill. This was my second time in a year that I stayed here. The staff is lackluster overall and have difficulty with English language and general customer service skills.

No hot water, incompetent/dishonest front desk
Room service was good and usually prompt. Hotel room are dated, bathroom had areas with mould. Hot water takes good 10 -15 mins to arrive, worst I have seen so far. I had extended my stay with another website and prepaid, but I checked out a day earlier, front desk guy advised me to contact the booking site, when I contacted them, they spoke to the hotel and were told I checked out a day later. When i provided evidence of my exit stamp from the country, they changed the story saying i did not inform them about my checkout, which is completely false and dishonest, I will not be using Ramee again.

Great restaurants and entertainment
My room while a little dated was very comfortable. Room service is cash only which was a little strange. The Buffalo restaurant and bar had great food and a terrific live band. Airport pickup and return was efficient and free but the vehicle needs an upgrade. Drivers very helpful and friendly. First time I felt the taxis were taking advantage so get a price before getting in. Juffair is near navy base so lots of young people around the area.

Pool was completely unusable. Gym had broken cardio machines and filthy. Machines were dated and unsafe with no maintenance done to them. The whole hotel smelled like smoke. Not like someone smoking in a room but like 10 people smoking every where.

Worst experience of my 3-week trip. The 1 night spent here was terrible. Problems are: - Loud music during the night. There is a night club in the ground floor, and the sound does go everywhere up to the higher floors. Is the hotel in Bahrain or Ibiza? - Smoke. Despite being in a non-smoking room, the smell was so bad that it seemed there was someone smoking 1 cm from me. Terrible, I had never seen it before, not even when there were 2 people smoking near me. The following day all my clothes, bags, etc were smelling terrible. - Terrible facilities, room was dirty ... That is, to AVOID!

This hotel is only suitable for someone who is in town for women and alcohol. This is a smoke-soaked noisy hotel that is trafficked mainly by young Saudi men and far eastern females.

quite good hotel
The room was nice, friendly and helpful staff, Internet was ok but could not connect to viber or Facebook messenger. The sports bar was great with lots of entertainment. The downside is that the hotel charges a high price for food and drinks knowing that it is really far to the nearest grocery shop.

Ramee California, not bad for the money
The hotel offered a good location with a good price. On arrival I discovered that the whole hotel seemed to be smoking. The fact that I got a smoking room was not mentioned when I did my phone booking. There is a nightclub in the hotel, and the bass could be clearly heard on the 5th floor. The club closes at 2a.m. There was complimentary fruit and water on arrival, but I did not find any tea or coffee making equipment. The hotel were very helpful when I requested a late check-out. Overall not a bad hotel, but possibly best suited to those in a party frame of mind

Great hotel in a wonderful location
The service in this hotel was amazing. Everyone was so accomodating. The wifi was weak in my room, but that was minor. I would stau here again for sure.

Ramee California Juffair
After reading reviews I was slightly apprehensive but after staying there I was pleasantly surprised. Very nicely appointed room, comfortable bed, good WIFI connection. I was on the 3rd floor and I could barely hear the partying in the night clubs in the evening. Upon check-in, I was greeted by very friendly staff, a cool drink and appetizer, just like high-end hotels. The size of the room was larger than most single rooms. One draw back would be that there wasn't an extra power outlet directly behind the desk, I needed to stretch my power cord across the entryway to the opposite wall. This is a very minor issue though.
