We loved the hotel, location, cocktails, and staff. The shower pressure in our room was amazing. Our only negatives were that we felt the Air Con wasnt up to the job and wifi was not the greatest. The towels in our room were minute too!

Lovely resort, great service, comfortable beds and decent buffet breakfast. Only issue we had was with wifi intermittently cutting out. Would stay here again.

Modern up to date rooms with large pooll. Plenty of sun beds. Friendly staff. Excellent choices at breakfast. Supermarket 2 mins away and beach 10-15.

Lovely place to stay
My partner and myself were there for 8 nights. Room is very spacious, you get to have your own fridge which is very handy for your own water, drinks and stuff. No kettle tho. Bathroom was very clean and very new looking, the only but is that they don’t give you shampoo or gel everyday at least in our case, so maybe bring your own or buy it in Mercadona which is literally 2 min from the hotel ( so handy). Swimmingpool is amazing and people are very calm around it, everybody is there to chill, no big parties or anything. Breakfast offers a great selection as well ( fruit, eggs omelettes pancakes...). Great experience and i totally recommend it. We will come back.

Mixed review
Needed tea and coffee making facilities in room, this was non-existent. Toilet roll wasn't replenished by housekeeping. Air con didn't work. Could not fault reception staff but the rest were not great. Short, rude and unhelpful at times. General condition of hotel was good, near shops and pool is great.

Lovely relaxing hotel
Loved this hotel and location. Lovely modern hotel with spacious rooms- including sofa, double bed, dressing table, and nearly all rooma were pool view with big balcony. Lots of couples and some friends in the hotel (ages ranging from 21-60). Plenty of choice for food in breakfast with pancakes, waffles, fruits, full english, cereals etc. Pool was very big with enough sun loungers for everyone. No need to put towels down as there was always room. Restaraunts and bars were about 7 minute walk- and a really nice walk through the village and when walking back at night time it was safe and quiet. Would say can picafort is a lovely place for couples and families (with a gorgeous beach). Best restaraunt was definetly marisco(near the marina), lovely food(not expensive) and brilliang service. And then some drinks in the sky lounge bar on the rooftop there (lovely view and cheaper drinks than the beach front bars). Would definetly recommend this hotel and location and would love to come back.

Reception staff not the happiest, others ok.
Overall, pool was lovely and hotel was clean. the daytime silence was often broken by the dull tones of a so called DJ entertainer which spoilt the otherwise peaceful surroundings. Great for families

Nice hotel, close to everything you need
The hotel is nice and clean with a good sized pool for all the family and a quiet pool at the front with cover for those really hot days. The children had a great time and for older children, the water ball games went down really well. The food is good and there are options if you have dietary requirements too, although more labelling would be good. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing that lets the hotel down slightly is the tired looking carpet along each floor, but this is a rather minor point. The hotel is in a good location with quiet surrounding areas, a nearby supermarket and a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach.

The hotel gave us a smokers room even though we booked non smoking. When we complained they told us to open the windows - what a bad joke. Told us no other room available. Swimming pool area is nice and big. The rooms themselves are big but rundown. Food was 3/10. Very nice honey melon, water melon and pineapple. Some apples and other fruits too. Besides it was really bad. Never seen so fatty meat cuts. Bread just horrible - no whole grain. Other choices also plenty unhealthy. Scrambled eggs tasted like made from egg powder. At least boiled eggs available - as fried eggs swam in fat.

Nice hotel 15 minutes from the beach had nice four days away our only issue was the food at breakfast and dinner had no labels on any of the food so you never new what you was eating so please don't go if you have any allergies

Excellent location
Perfect location about 10 minute walk down to the beach, supermarket right next door (closed on Sunday's) but plenty of little shops dotted around. Very quiet when we went, only a couple of other people sunbathing. Only problem was the cleanliness of a couple pools. The main pool was fine and clean so was the children's with the slides. The other children's pool had a tree which of course shed its leaves. The pool was filled and became murky, it wasn't cleaned during our 4 night stay. The pool round the side under the covers was warm but yet again it was filthy! We went to have a look and flies, leaves were everywhere and generally murky and no way would I go in. Whether they clean the pool weekly or fortnightly I don't know but to be honest it needs to be daily to keep on top of these things. It let the hotel down. It looked newly refurbished with the decking all around the pool and they were building what looked like a bar at the top end. Staff have no consideration for times they do tasks either, as they came out banging on the children's park and mowing the lawn at 11am when we were sunbathing trying to relax. Surely something like this should be done first thing like in main resorts?! Before people start coming out. Or get them done before the season starts. Plenty of restaurants down by the beach, we ate in the pirate one.

When there was no wifi on our room we thought it was because we were in the last building (100m from the main one), but only this one seems to have wifi. When confronted, the receptionist said 'we never have heard this', which is a lie since i've found reviews stating the same problem. Room was clean, but uncomfortable and smelly. I don't understant how this has 4/5 in expedia.

Perfectly adequate family hotel
Barely anything to moan about this place really as it was a perfectly adequate hotel mostly suited to young families. Good food, great pools,etc. The only down sides were no porter to help with luggage and the transfer took what felt like at least 2 hours! Wifi was a bit hit and miss and I dont know if it was just us, but by day 3 the cleaning in the room went right downhill as in the bare minimum was done in the rooms Tip 1: Take your own teabags to use in the restaurant Tip 2: Nearest place to buy cigarettes is BP garage vending machine opposite hotel Tip 3:Make sure you ask at reception what time your pick up transfer time is the day before you leave as I never knew this and missed mine, costing me 70 euros for a taxi (40-45 mins to airport), a race against time to check in on time and several grey hairs!

A very clean hotel, with a fantastic pool (and a second quiet pool) and great entertainment for kids and young families. There are plenty of activities, and the daily evening entertainment was varied, but it is so loud that we ended up timing an evening walk for that time so we could avoid the noise. The room is very spacious for a couple, bathroom which is well equipped and a bedroom with good windows and balcony with a view over the pool. the kitchenette is quite small and unfortunately of a poorer quality than the rest of the apartment. There is no kettle or toaster, and although the microwave has a grill, when we attempted to use it to toast bread, it fused the electrics for the flat. A few hours after calling reception maintenance arrived and their fix was that we instead place the wire grilling rack over the hob (there is no oven) instead, and they warned us not to use the grill in the microwave again. The rest of the open kitchen-lounge is spacious, the TV had many channels, most of which are in German. You'll notice this outside too, as every morning a large portion of the sunbeds around the pool had towels on them. Although the hotel says reserving sunbeds isn't permitted, we never saw this rule enforced, and it was frustrating at times when there were few sunbeds free for us to use. The cleaning staff were efficient and the entertainment staff very friendly, however the same cannot be said for the reception staff, who with the exception of one were unhelpful.

10 day break
We have just returned from a 10 days at Eix Alzinar Mar Hotel and it was a very pleasant stay. It might be worth noting to everyone that the majority of guests at this hotel are not British but we found it very friendly. The staff were very helpful, especially in the dining room the waiting staff were a delight. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The only criticism we would have is that it would have been great if they had an adult only sitting for meals. The pool area is very attractive and if you want to escape from the kids there is a lovely pool with wonderful sunbeds on the other side of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a little kitchenette, fridge, stove, etc.

Great if you speak German!!!
Great location with good views and brilliant if you speak fluent German. Booking on Expedia.co.uk I expected English company within the hotel. Other than that the hotel and facilities were outstanding and the location was stunning. Be aware kids clubs start at 3+ if you are taking a small one and want a little break!

Where to start... On arrival the staff were unfriendly, miserable and unhelpful, did not offer any assistance or guidance or give any form of information at all. We were given the room with the worst view, looking over an unpleasant patch of green. The hotel is designed in a way that almost blocks the sun out everyday making this add more to the misery of staying there. It had the worst location compared to all the other hotels, furthest away from the beach and shops. Most deffinately not a four star hotel as they claim, the rooms are basic, beds are ridiculously hard and uncomfortable. The hotel werent able to provide us with an adaptor for our UK plugs, or an iron to use, although you could of course pay a stupid amount to get this done for you... When actually using the plug sockets, they were so cheaply made the force of removing a plug would almost pull all the plastic surrounding it out of the wall, noticing this after i had a little shock myself. If you are not german then do not stay here, everything is in german, the tv channels, information, pretty much everything. If you are german then i still would not reccoment this hotel, horrible, miserable atmosphere that will make you want to spend as little time as you can at the hotel, even if you have to walk miles to get back and forth from the beach and shops. You will regret you chose to stay here...

Tutto splendido, dalla struttura al cibo, piscina bellissima e camere spaziose. Buona posizione, vicino alla fermata degli autobus e al centro commerciale, a pochi minuti dalla spiaggia e dal viale principale. L’unica pecca è stata l’aria condizionata mal funzionante.

Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht richtig und kühlte das Zimmer nicht ab. Nach dem Duschen lief Wasser ins Zimmer. Durchgelegene und unbequeme Matratzen. Zimmer sah nicht so aus wie auf den Bildern angegeben. Es war deutlich kleiner und ohne Sofa. Servicemitarbeiter bis auf 2-3 Ausnahmen unfreundlich und schlecht gelaunt. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Hôtel très propre, conforme aux photos. Par contre, pas de volets (seulement des rideaux) donc très lumineux le matin. Insonorisation correcte mais on entendait la musique de l’hôtel provenant de l’extérieur (assez tard). Personnel agréable mais attente assez longue pour remettre les clés au moment du départ.

Die Anlage (riesiger Pool) und der Service (sehr zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal) heben sich wirklich von anderen Hotels ab. Es ist perfekt um abzuschalten und den Urlaub zu genießen. Sehr ruhige entspannende Atmosphäre. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen spanischen/ mallorquinischen Spezialitäten oder klassischem deutschen Essen. Die Zimmer sind alle sauber und renoviert.

Tolles Hotel in guter Lage mit schönen grossen Zimmern, schöner Poollanschaft und großem Parkplatz vor der Tür, wo immer etwas frei war trotz Hochsaison. Der Frühstücksraum war auch sehr gross und das Frühstücksbuffet lecker.

Man wird als Gast nicht ernst genommen
Wir wurden leider behandelt wie jemand der über hotels.com gebucht hat. Man hat uns das lauteste Zimmer angedreht wo weder die Klimaanlage funktioniert hat noch die FB des TV. Der WLAN Zugang war ein Witz, alle 3 Minuten flog man raus. Das Zimmer lag direkt an einer Strasse und die Fenster waren absolut nicht Schalldicht zudem lag es an der prallen Sonne bis zu deren Untergang. Wir hatten am Nachmittag gute 30 Grad im Zimmer. Als wir gefragt haben ob wir das Zimmer wechseln können wurden wir auf den nächsten Tag vertröstet und mit der Aussage abgewiesen die Klimaanlage funktioniere ja. Lärm hatte sie auch gemacht, aber nie gekühlt...! Am dritten Tag konnten wir dann endlich wechseln, dann hat man uns ein Zimmer gleich oberhalb der Küche gegeben wo man immer den Küchenlärm hatte bis das Buffet endlich fertig war. Aber zumindest hatte die laute Klimaanlage da funktioniert und man hatte nicht das Gefühl im Bett von einem Auto überfahren zu werden. Sonst wäre das Hotel eigentlich gut, sehr nettes Personal beim tollen Frühstücksbuffet und keine nervige, laute Abendunterhaltung. Der Pool ist riesig und man ist in 10-15 Minuten am Strand. Könnte ich mein Zimmer selber wählen würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen, aber eben als hotels.com Gast...
