Excellent place to stay while in transit to/from Maldives. Starting with a hotel representative meeting you at arrival gates to escort you to the clean and modern shuttle with great AC, the ride to the hotel was nice and cool. Next was the refreshing welcome drink during checkin. They also made arrangements with the resort we were traveling to the next day, which was unexpected and very appreciated. Check in was a breeze. The room is as pictured, modern amenities, and the AC was a dream. We were able to explore the area by foot and had dinner nearby. Overnight stay in the room was very comfortable and the shower is big enough for two. Breakfast was freshly prepared by order and service was excellent. We will pick this hotel again.

This hotel is fine if you have to stay the night before going to a different island. If Male is where you will stay for any longer I would suggest a different hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. So many delicious options! The service was great. Rooms were clean with nice A/C. They provided pick up and drop off service. Juice upon arrival was nice touch. Thank you!

Hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very helpful from airport pickup through check out. They handled our bags and provided a refreshing drink upon arrival. Unfortunately, our shower did not have warm water and we waited for a while in the warm/humid part of the airport while other guests were still arriving, so that’s the reason for the reduced rating. It may be nice for guests to wait in the air conditioned van while others are still arriving.

Great hotel, conveniently located in Malé
Great hotel close to the ferry and historic sites in Malé. The hotel staff were super helpful and very nice. The complementary airport shuttle was great. Overall, would recommend to folks spending a few days in Malé.

If you’re traveling - read this! — i Was nervous staying in the city. I was coming from a resort island and stayed here my last night because i had a 930am flight. We landed in the city at 5pm… the hotel picked us up and was waiting for us. EXTREMELY convenient to find the driver and they communicated multiple times leading up to our arrival with us AND with the resort hotel to make sure everything was literally hassle free for us. They took us to the hotel and even walked us up to the room and took our bags up. We were supposed to leave before breakfast (flight ended up getting delayed) and they told us the night before that they were going to have our breakfast made regardless and packed so we could take it to go with us. They then gave us a free shuttle to the airport also. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and easy transfer and accommodations.

For a one night stay over it was absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was great men’s were comfortable. The staff was over the top as far as service and picking up at the airport room, cleanliness hotel service and dropping off at the airport. Unbelievable . They also communicated with our resort and got us to the airport. Perfect timing amazing service at the airport as well. Incredible and every way.

I had a fairly bad experience with this hotel. They didn’t even change the towels. I found dirty towels in the bathroom. Comparing the amount we paid this was a terrible service.

Overall, the hotel was clean and furnishings were modern. Website photos were an accurate reflection of facilities. Room, elevator and hallway spaces were small. However, everything was adequate for an overnight stay. Dhanuska was helpful in providing information about the area surrounding Marukab Plaza. He also assisted with roundtrip transportation between Male airport and the hotel.

Clean accommodation with airport shuttle service
We stayed for a night due to late night arrival in Male and an early seaplane flight the next morning. The hotel provides to-and-fro airport shuttle which is very convenient and helpful! The property was in very good condition and the room was very clean. Due to our early flight, we couldn't make it for the hotel breakfast and the staff packed 2 sets of breakfast for us. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

Nice hotel for the night
We arrived at Male late at night, and we chose Marukab Plaza hotel to stay for one night before going to another island resort the next day. Hotel staff were friendly and service was good. As the package included round trip shuttle between hotel and airport, someone from the hotel picked us up at the airport upon our arrival. And the next day we needed to leave extremely early to catch the sea plane at the airport, hotel still offered take away breakfast for us to eat on the way since restaurant was not opened yet. Hotel seems to locate on a side street, but since we are only staying for one night, it does not affect much. Room was ok, provided what we needed for the night.

The room was lovely. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I received an upgraded room with a large balcony. I didn’t know how to control the AC, so it was a bit warm in the room. I went to the cafe in the lobby and ordered a wonderful salad and delicious empanadas that were delivered to my room. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. There were so many choices of food that was very tasty. The staff were welcoming, very nice and attentive. I really enjoyed my stay.

Service was exceptional. Dhanushka picked me up from the airport (complimentary airport whittle service) and was very professional and considerate. On his own initiative, he confirmed my transfer back to the airport and sea ferry to my resort. After checking me in, he led the way to my room and brought my luggage. He went above and beyond and all without me having to ask. The next morning, the staff at the front desk and at breakfast on the 5th floor were also wonderful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable for me. Toiletries were provided. Location was ideal because it was only about a 5 minute drive from/to the airport. There was a lot of construction nearby. Overall, great experience for the price I paid. Thank you, Marukab Plaza, for the wonderful hospitality!

The hotel is located only a few minutes from the airport. By making arrangements in advance, I was picked up at 8:00 AM by their shuttle and allowed to check-in right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel their appreciated my business. The hotel has a hotel and and a cafe inside the property. Room service is available and there are plenty of dining options near by. The only down point - not to their fault - is that there is a building being demolished across the street and it gets noisy from time to time. However, even with that going on, the rest of the experience was flawless. I will definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a day hotel, while you wait for a late flight out.

The staff was very hospitable. I came here for the first time with my bag full of clothes, but I was very satisfied with my stay. Although it has nothing to do with the hotel, the only thing that made me sad was that a new hotel was being built right in front of me and it was hot during the day, so construction was going on at night. I plan to use it again when I come to the Maldives.

Confortble new facility
it was very nice stay in Jan 2024, nice clean room and plenty of hot water. My room was not big but not bad, many rooms must have only nighbor building view. Breakfast was good for some selections. Airport pick up and drop off included in room charge were very smooth, location is convinient close to Male jetty for airport, second street from the port. (Note, Hotel official web address appeared in wrong location. Google Map was correct) And as explaind at check in, very hot water was coming from shower. Follow instruction ! Also Ice cream at grand floor was good but cash only, I d like to stay for next time
