While many of the facilities offered are what you would expect from a brand like Hilton, one issue that the hotel needs to look into is their over zealous monitoring of the hotel's closest exit towards the haram. I stayed 4 days and used that exit/entrance extensively but was specifically singled out almost every time to prove that I stayed at the hotel. While I completely understand why the hotel do that but as a customer who was almost asked to prove my stay every single time that I used the gate, by the end it had become a tedious and frustrating experience. It made me feel that there’s some profiling going on which I repeatedly fit into. Nevertheless, except this experience which left a bit of bad taste, everything else was Hilton brand worthy

Going to Makkah? Heads up, never stay at Hilton Convention Makkah!!! When I arrived I found out that my original booking was cancelled by the management without being notified. I was transferred with my family to temporary rooms as I was promised to get my originally booked suite the next morning. The temporary rooms turned out to be dismal, with aging furniture, stained carpets, and cracked countertops in the washroom. Ultimately, not only did I fail to regain my suite, but I was also charged more than the agreed-upon amount for my original booking.

3 star hotel not 5 I think
On check in agent was so rude not even welcome us or tell us what’s WiFi password where is the room and what time breakfast start but other reception agents was so good maybe he was having bad day, very clean hotel great decor but issue with service I asked for tea bags no one pick the call I ask reception same issue after few tries I call and they pick saying they will get me in 10 minutes no one came I call again so to make this short after 2 hours and try 10 times no one bring tea bags so I made 3 complaint to reception still same issue at the end I go to reception and I asked need to speak to manager so I made a complaint he was so good and apologise and finally get tea bags also after that I asked for clean the room same issue after that complaint plus if you are tea lover they don’t provide milk they give coffee mate instead so I drink tea without milk so I my overall experience I will give this hotel 3 stars not 5 and in term of cleaning and decor and breakfast and staff 7/10

Very good stay staying at Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel. The only thing to be kept in mind is the walk back to the hotel from Khana-e-Kaaba is uphill which can be a problematic when you are tired or if you have any health related issues.
