"Old building that could really use a remodel. I've stayed in many hotels in the loop and somehow the sound from outside penetrated much more than most. The doormen were excellent though. They were very helpful and nice."
"The hotel was clean and the rooms were decent. Did like the fact. I didn't like the fact there is no mirrors in the whole room except for the one in the bathroom. Also for the price that they charge I feel they should have had daily housekeeping but it was only offered after a 3-day stay. I asked for lotion on the first day by the time I checked out I never received it. The first evening I go to take a shower there's no body wash in the dispenser. If you didn't pay extra for their special inclusion package their breakfast buffet was $35 per person which I think was way too high for what they provided. I asked the front desk with help for sightseeing and cab service and they couldn't help me with either one. I will not stay there again."

"What a scam for $350+ a night. Our first room was disgusting; it looked like there was crusty throw up on the carpet and the bathroom was not clean and there was dust everywhere. You don’t even get a microwave in your room. The bathroom is so small. The furniture in the room is so dated and stained. Called the front desk for another pillow and they yelled at me and then hung up, and never brought the pillow. When I called back they’d pick up and hang up. Not a good hotel, way overpriced, understaffed (I felt bad for the employees it’s not their fault), and just not a good experience overall."
"I stayed in a bedroom that was suppose to be a king bedroom but ran out of rooms, room was out dated, shower head had a heavy leak, the shower nossle was coming out the wall and the vent didn't work."
"I booked at king size bed room and ended up being put in a room with other guest when i didnt book a a quad room i booked a king size private room. Very disappointed."
"The hotel is within walking distance to many must-do locations in Chicago (Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium and The Bean). Lots of good good options near by as well.
The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean upon arrival. The bathroom fan was not working.
The main issue was the AC not working. There was not filter in the machine and it was too old/too small to properly cool the room. We had it set to 60 degrees and you wouldn't have known. Not sure if it was because of the floor we were on or what but that was the largest issue we had."
