We stayed for two nights with my kids. It was for a University of Wisconsin visit. My 4 year old wanted to swim. The pool was an absolute disaster. Unsupervised kids threw up orange stuff in the pool. I stepped on a white claw can in the deep end. People were drinking alcohol openly.
When I went to explore the area in the morning around 630am the lady at the front desk was very rude. She scolded me and rudely said " breakfast is at 7. That's why the lights are off!" She said this with obvious and physical annoyance. I wasn't looking for breakfast. I was simply looking around at the place I spent money to sleep at.
On top of this, the maids or the hotel help never cleaned or changed our sheets and gave us fresh towels. Ridiculous. Drunk neighbors. Load people upstairs. Very unhappy
Overall adequate with hotel, staff, amenities, especially given affordable price point. My spouse loved the breakfast! Found the walking path after hours.
This appeared to have had 2 restaurants on the property at an earlier date. Both are closed, and the stand alone building now houses a consulting firm.
The hotel had two parts connected by a walkway. Getting from one part to another was confusing and difficult. Signage was poor. It felt unsafe.

A small dog barked nonstop from 1:30 AM -11:00 AM, not the businesses fault. But made for a very miserable night when all we wanted to do was rest for once. The hotel said they will compensate me but still unsure of how as the manager wasn’t there all weekend. The staff was very attentive to our concerns though!! I feel the people with that dog should have been asked to leave immediately as there were multiple people that complained! I will be asking for a full refund as a result. Super clean place, great staff, and close to everything hence why we chose to stay there. Clearly tho a price jack up due to the big even that was in that town, which in my mind isn’t right to do.
We loved everything about our stay. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, as was the king bed. Right behind the hotel is a foot/bike path that meanders through woods for miles. Across Fish Hatchery are two amazing restaurants: Ollie's Madison and St. Charles Station. We can't wait to come back.
There was a wrestling team in the room/rooms above us and it was full on WWF until 1:30am. Not the properties fault.
The breakfast was fantastic! The desk personal was amazing and helpful and the pool was nice clean and quiet only 5’ deep which is perfect for our shorties.
We were in for the dog and fishing shows at the Alliant Energy Center and there were many of the vendors and dog families there. Wish we had brought ours.
However, the walls in our room had food and other remnants on it. The towels had dark short hairs in them and the shower was so slippery my husband almost fell.
We would return but probably request a different room on the top floor.
the building elevator was broken at our check out time we had to bring our luggage down from Third floor down to first
floor through the stair.

Dear Sir,As we explained to you, we were redoing the flooring in the elevator. It was not broken and we apologized for the inconvenience. Please have your facts correct when posting about someone's business.
Clean spacious suite. Difficult to control temperature.
When we arrived we found a broken shower head. Fixed the same day. No housekeeping last day.. Breakfast was marginal.
