Very good location within walking distance to shopping, the Capitol Building, and public transportation. I was able to do alot of exploring in just one day. Wisconsin people are very friendly. There is construction going on next to the hotel.

Clean and comfortable. But our waitress at breakfast was unhelpful and unfriendly. Mainly I was very disappointed in the following: I had originally booked a two night stay but as it turned out we were unable to stay both nights. I canceled the second night a full day before our arrival. The hotel was clearly full and in demand, and they could easily have rebooked the room upon my cancellation, and probably did. But the front desk staff still refused to refund the second night when I made that request in person.

Very comfortable room and wonderful updated bathroom. But it lacked a disposable shower cap, which is standard in all hotels I’ve been to over the past 10 years. Had I known I would have happily bought my own.
