I loved the hammock on our porch! The rose garden was beautiful. Our porch had a view of the sea and the mountains. It was nice to have a separate sitting area and the weather was beautiful to enjoy sitting out on the porch.

Pleasant and rather rural feel
Nice garden and a fully equipped bungalow, perfect for a family holiday. It has a pleasant and rural feel. Though some of the towels did not look properly washed and the hand soap was diluted. Better to bring your own.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere in a positive meaning. No traffic, fantastic garden, and cozy villas. Heating with fireplace. Breakfast in the tea house, two swimming pools. Excellent.

Definitely recommend - nice area
Very nice set up with individual houses where you have everything you need. Small kitchen with all you might need (plates, glasses, fridge). Ideal for long term stay giving thebfact that you can even cook if you want :)

positives - this is a lovely location, set in beautiful private gardens, the chalets are spacious and comfy, and the DIY breakfast substantial. It can be chilly in winter, as the site is north facing beneath the hills. But the lady had kindly turned an electric fan on before we arrived and there is a wood stove. only negatives would be that the bathroom mirror was cracked, and the bathroom had no heating, but if you stay in warmer weather that won't be an issue! We'd definitely go back.

Nous avons apprécié l'ambiance et le concept. Cependant, si vous recherchez de ce qui est un 4*, il s'agit plutôt un camping de luxe. Nous avons été un peu déçu du restaurant sur la qualité des produits et de la localisation ainsi que de la literie. La roseraie est sympa et les piscines aussi.

Wir waren im neuen Bereich der Unterkunft untergebracht: die Unterkunft besteht aus mehreren kleinen Häusern, die verteilt in einem Garten mit wundervoller Bepflanzung liegen. Es gibt zwei schöne Pool. Alles ist sauber, ruhig und sehr grün. Ausstattung der Studios ist zweckmässig. Das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig.

Pause dans un hôtel très "nature" au milieu d'une nature généreuse. Chambres tres vaste équipée d'une kitchenette pour une éventuelle utilisation personnelle. 2 piscines à disposition, bien équipées. Petit déjeuner servi dans un restaurant à proximité , tres varié et d"excellente qualité. A noter que ce restaurant est également bien pour le dîner avec des spécialités de l'ile de Madère. Un bon séjour.

Die neuen Häuser sind modern gebaut und eingerichtet.Die älteren bedürfen eine Erneuerung! Auch die Anlage außenrum ist sehr schön! Der Rosengarten sofern geöffnet gibt sicher seinen Charme dazu. Parken ist kein Problem und das Personal ist freundlich und professionell. Das Frühstück ist gut und abwechslungsreich auch wenn es sehr kalt in der Räumlichkeit ist kann man dort gut Essen! Das Hotel sollte sich etwas mehr in sacheTierschutz engagieren...einige Katzen auf der Anlage sind zwar willkommen( sie werden auch gebraucht!) aber nicht wirklich gepflegt...Futterstellen,Katzenhäuser( das sind keine hohen kosten) und vielleicht eine Aktion zur Tierarztversorgung sollten eingerichtet werden! Gute Anbindung zur Autobahn so ist alles in max einer Stunde mit dem Mietwagen zu erreichen....wie von überall sonst auch auf der Insel

2 great swimming pools and incredible garden. Nice facilities, 2 parking lots and 2 restaurants nearby. All rooms air-conditioned. Friendly reception staff and nice breakfast. However cleaning was under all criticism. We got our room cleaned only once during one week stay. Why? If cleaning personnel spots you are in the room at 10-12, they come immediately, while we were not ready to leave “here and now”. If we were away for a walk/swimming/sightseeing and came back home at 15-16, the room was not cleaned either, and cleaning personnel appeared at 16:00. While we were tired after daily activities with 3 yo child and could not leave for another 30 minutes “just like that” for give room for janitors. Hotel management is adviced to pay attention to this “fraudulent” performance of their janitors…

Très bel endroit, mais ce n'est pas un hotel
L'hôtel est situé dans un magnifique jardin fleuri, les logements sont de petites maisons de 2 pièces : séjour-cuisine, chambre, salle de bains, terrasse. Décoration très simple et de bon goût. Le tout est propre. Les piscines sont belles, quelques transat seraient bienvenus. Mais il s'agit plus d'une location que d'un hotel : hormis le ménage quotidien, aucun service hôtelier, mieux vaut le savoir. L'accueil et le personnel est sympathique. Ce serait très bien s'il n'y avait pas 2 gros points négatifs : Le petit déjeuner à faire soi même passe encore. Mais pain et produits industriels, cafe éventé etc... Et en plus le personnel de ménage ne fait pas la vaisselle ils empilent la vaisselle sale dans l'evier !!! Pour un 4* je trouve que c'est inacceptable Le lit est très mauvais : petit (ou est le queen size annoncé sur la brochure ?), un matelas sur une planche qui grince des qu'on bouge un orteil...

Quinta do Arco bestaat uit allerlei bungalows in een prachtige bloemenzee. Helaas zijn de zwembaden slecht onderhouden (losse tegels, groene aanslag) en voelen niet zo fris. Ook de bungalow rook wat muf, het bed sliep echter heerlijk.

Du potentiel pas optimisé
Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cet apparhotel début juillet 2016. 2 adultes 1 ado 1 bébé. Le logement était la villa à gauche de la réception en entrant (les bungalows étant à droite). Les points positifs : bel espace de vie bien décoré, jardin magnifique, 2 très belles piscines. Le service est très correct bien que fermé assez tôt (ayez un portable !). Pain frais le matin. À améliorer : cette résidence est au nord de l île, à flanc de montagne et donc fraîche et humide...la villa louée était très humide et sentait même le moisi, heureusement il y avait un deshumidificateur portable qui tournait à fond toute la semaine (j ai vidé des dizaines de litres d eau) et un poêle que j ai allumé le premier soir pour assécher la maison. Mais la construction aurait du être tournée vers l est et non le nord car gros manque de soleil pour avoir une ambiance sèche saine car les draps sentaient quand même l humidité. Je pense qu une climatisation réversible devrait être installée. Côté équipement, un petit lave vaisselle serait bienvenu car il faut laver ses plats et couverts... Ce qui ne va pas : contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur la fiche de l hôtel, la literie est basique et non à mémoire de forme, la tv est un poste minuscule cathodique et non un écran plat, et il n'y a pas de restaurant à proximité car fermé.. En résumé : du potentiel mais des investissements à faire. Correct pour une ou deux nuits, pas plus.

Herrliche Gartenanlage
Schöne Anlage, insbesondere für Freunde der blühenden Pflanzen. Die umgebauten Häuser der Landarbeiter sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber auf ihre Art sehr hübsch, schon eher wie eine Ferienwohnung. Das Frühstück müssten wir in der Wohnung uns selbst zubereiten, war aber alles da und würde täglich aufgefüllt.

Sehr ruhige und schöne Hotelanlage
Die Hotelanlage liegt direkt an der Route 101 in Arco do Sao Jorge hinter einer Mauer, sodass man von den Straßengeräuschen der wenig befahrenden Route nichts mitbekommt. Die kleinen Villen/Ferienhäuser sind umgeben von einem großen Garten mit viel Grün und blühenden Pflanzen. Desweiteren gibt es zwei große Pools, die man ganzjährig nutzen kann und eine kleine Poolbar mit Billardtisch. Die Ferienhäuser sind mit Küche und Kamin mehr als gut ausgestattet. Die übrige Einrichtung ist urig, aber sehr gemütlich. Ich nutzte die Hotelanlage als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen im Norden und Zentralgebirges von Madeira, aber auch in den Süden von Madeira. Die Sandstrände von Calheta erreicht man in einer Stunde über Sao Vincente. Porto Moniz in ca. 35 min., dort gibt es eine Meerwasserbeckenschwimmanlage die aber nur im Sommer geöffnet ist.

Hur gick det såhär!!
Ett riktigt lågklasshotell med delvis falsk marknadsföring. De saluförde sig med bra sängar med memoryfoam och i själva verket var det stenhårda sängar utan bäddmadrass!! Dessutom var sängen max 180 cm. lång. Rummen var undermåligt städade och det regnade in vid ett regnoväder som passerade. Dålig service överlag men värst var sista morgonen när vi saknade stora delar av frukosten som levererades till rummet/boningen. Receptionen var endast öppen dagtid när man själv inte var så mycket på hotellområdet så hade man oangelägenheter var det svårt att få nån support. Wifi ett biljardbord och mycket öl räddade denna vistelse i någon mån.
